The wife and I booked a room at Timber Ridge early in Dec. The room was really nice! 2 fireplaces, full kitchen, jacuzzi tub, big walk in shower, flat screen TVs. Had our own deck but didn't use it because of the weather. I would stay her again if we came back to Branson but to us Branson was worth seeing only once.

We stayed in a one bedroom unit in the Elm building. The unit was very nice, spacious and clean. We especially enjoyed the two fireplaces and the jacuzzi bathtub. The patio was very nice, but the weather was not cooperative since we were staying in early December. The kitchen was perfect for those who just want to warm up things in the microwave or for those who want to cook full meals. We did notice that some of the furniture was a little worn, but we had to look closely to notice. The only things we did not like were the artificial flower arrangements. The seemed to be a little dated and a great place to collect dust. The only other issue was the sidewalk and parking place. There had been ice and snow the day before we arrived. But there were several occasions where there was enough melting during the day to clean this off of the parking lot and sidewalks. Instead they just let it refreeze. When we came back from our afternoon adventures, the snow and ice were slushy. Then when we came back from our evening accidents it had refrozen to ice. A sure accident waiting to happen. If we return to Branson, we would stay at the Timber Ridge. However, we would not return dung the winter due to lack of concern for snow covered walkways and parking spots. There is no room service at all, so don't expect to get clean towels, the trash cans emptied or your bed made.

Thanks for a great review. We appreciate you taking the time to let us and other travelers hear about your experience.
We are glad you enjoyed your lodge room. We are very proud of our Lodges at Timber Ridge.
We do apologize for the inconvenience of the weather. Branson is not known for experiencing such a large snow and ice storm and especially so early in the season when occupancy is still high. With such a large property, and being a sold out weekend, our maintenance crew did their best to keep as many parking spaces open and walkways cleared. We used a snow plow for the parking lots, but sometimes the plow could not get into places where cars were still parked. Our maintenance crew was out trying to clear what the plow could not get to, including using a snow blower. The main focus was on the walkways, as guests were using those extensively. We apologize if they could not clean your parking lot before a re-freeze. Our primary concern is always for the safety and comfort of our guests, and our team was working nearly around the clock to keep all areas cleared as well as responding to additional needs of our guests during this winter storm. Once again our sincere apologies for any inconveniences and thanks again for your kind words regarding your stay. We will take all feedback and utilize it toward continued improvements in our operation.
We also would like to apologize if we did not provide adequate housekeeping service. Every week long stay comes with one mid-week thorough cleaning, but we are always happy to exchange towels and remove trash during your stay. If we did not express this to you, or respond to requests, we apologize.
We do hope you will return to stay with us, no matter the season, as Branson and The Welk Resort offers something for everyone, all year long.

We are Welk owners and this is our second stay. The most fantastic part of our trip was a young man,Scar, that hosted activities for our children. He engaged the kiddos in the activities offered but if the activity wasn't an interest to the children present, he found something else fun for them to do. Once paying for the prizes for the winners himself. He made a great impression on me and my family. Made us feel like we were at home during a holiday week. If you have the opportunity to meet Scar, you won't be disappointed in your stay at Welk Resort.

We had 2 larger one bedroom units in 2 different buildings in the lodges. They are large well equipped units with very nice patios and decks. We were here when the buildings were just about 1 year old and now again about 3-4 years later. We were disappointed in a number of items. One of the units that we were assigned had a bad musty smell the minute we walked in. The maintenance people couldn't do anything with it (coming from the ducts) other than spray so they moved us to the only unit they had left in a different building from our friends which was a bit inconvenient. We planned to grill outdoors one evening and found that none of the barbeques were working except one that only worked partially. Our friends had the unpleasant experience of finding roaches in their kitchen more than one time and although it was reported there wasn't anything done. The property is very nice and has been recently updated (hotel portion) to a nice standard. We just felt that these lodge units were not being well maintained.

Room Tip: There are only 2 levels and no stairs but in some of the building the upper level is the one on the...

We appreciate you taking the time to let us know about your stay.
We apologize about the musty smell in your original unit. Air conditioner ducts can sometimes get an odor and we believed the best solution was to move you to a different unit while we took care of the issue.
We have looked into the barbecue grills and did not find any issues, but we are very sorry you could not grill.
We are very proactive with our pest management program. Being we’re in the Ozarks and surrounded by woods, pests are going to get in from time to time, especially as weather changes occur, however we quickly rectify these issues and do our best to insure our guests are not affected. We apologize for your having to deal with this issue at all, but please know we have addressed the concern.
We know that challenges can arise in a stay, but we try our best to prevent this from occurring and we are very sorry you encountered any at all. Please accept our apology and we hope you will return to find that your experience was not the normal experience of our guests.

I was expecting a villa and was upgraded to a lodge with two fireplaces and everything we could need. What a treat for our first stay at this resort. It was so quiet and peaceful with the pond and beautiful grounds to view while sitting on the patio. There were times I was sorry to leave to shop or attend a show!

My husband and I are Welk Timeshare owners. This was our second stay at Lodges at Timber Ridge in Branson. The one-bedroom lock off is what we reserved for 3 nights, and these are wonderful suites. Two fireplaces, a jacuzzi tub, a HUGE shower with three shower heads, full kitchen, washer and dryer, comfy king-size bed, very large veranda with plenty of seating. Absolutely spotless suite. Access to grills at the sides of the buildings. Overlooking a very pretty pond. The indoor/outdoor pool and hot tubs were so fun. We are also excited to go to the other resorts: two in California, one in Cabo San Lucas, building in Breckenridge, Lake Tahoe, and Kauai! So happy with our purchase!

Room Tip: Ask for the Lodge rather than the hotel. Bigger rooms, more privacy, quieter.
