Pre-Fire... Fall Creek Steakhouse used to be my number one choice of restaurant while visiting Branson. The atmosphere and food was exactly what I expected from a steakhouse. Rolls were always hot, ready, and in the air. A perfect experience all the way around.
Post-Fire and Rebuilt... Fall Creek Steakhouse now offers about the same atmosphere as a school lunch-room. Open, noisy, and no sense of steakhouse 'coziness'. Roll throwing came our way twice, once just as we sat down and had yet to order our meal, and again just as we were finishing our meal. The steak was thin, tough, full of fat and gristle, the chicken was good. Our waiter was excellent (even though he couldn't get us rolls to go WITH our meal, either).
We won't be back, and regret that the owners chose to go in a different direction after the fire.
