“Big Servings”
Reviewed July 30, 2013

We had to wait in line about 20 minutes but we were glad we did. We had great service with a lot of home-style cooked food which were done in big servings. My wife and I both enjoyed our food and had a fun time eating here. The only thing that was a little annoying was that they come around and take your picture, print it, and then want you to pay a pretty high price for it. It's not like it's a great photo or anything, just proof you were there I guess. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and left full.

“Good prices, ok food, stay away from the "ticket booth"”
Reviewed July 30, 2013

We went on an early morning fishing trip and got done about 10:00, on our way back through Branson we thought we'd get an early lunch, it was about 10:30.

Can't miss the giant chicken. At 10:30 they said they wouldn't be serving lunch until 11:00, evidently 30 minutes is too much for the kitchen to grill up a burger. Anyway, the breakfast "buffet" was still up. Buy one get one 1/2 price, can't really argue, total bill was $30 with drinks for 4. Since we were later in the morning the buffet was already picked over and had the usual fare; scrambled eggs, potatoes, bacon, sausage, yada yada, nothing to write home about.

On the way out we decided to stop by the "discount ticket" booth. We've been around the block a few times and know this is usually the time share setup, go sit through the time share presentation, get pressured, told you're preventing your kids from happiness and then get your tickets and leave. This was no different except the guy selling the tickets just wanted the "deposit" to get us out the door. We really didn't care if we bought the tickets outright but of course we listened to his "deal". We picked the three shows we wanted to see, this guy didn't even know when the show times were and I had to tell him and I was reading it right off the brochure and he had a big print out and couldn't figure it out.

So we make our "deal" saving $220 or something but we tell him have a time share already, we don't want to sit through the 90 minute session telling us how great it is. He said no problem we would be "VIP's" and would just have to sit down real quick with the sales person, no video, no walking through the model units. We payed him the $20 "deposit" which I'm sure just went into his pocket.

Needless to say we get there and we're supposed to sit through the thing, we fight with them and finally just told them we'd buy the tickets outright and be done with it. We'll just pay full price from now on.

“Breakfast Buffet”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

This location has a 40 foot Chicken in front so it is hard to miss. Breakfast is a good value and buy one and get one half off is a normal breakfast, No coupons required anymore. Food was hot and staff was friendly. Highly recommend at least the breakfast because we did not stop here for lunch or dinner. Just remember that traffic in Branson on 76 really stinks so do some homework and learn the alternate routes....

“Mild Cases of Food Poisoning”
Reviewed July 28, 2013

Ate here on July 26th for lunch. The only food item any of us cared for was the garlic mashed potatoes. My husband and 2 of my 3 children developed mild cases of food poisoning after returning to the hotel a couple hours later. We will never return and will not be recommending this restaurant to anyone.
