“Great experience”
Reviewed July 23, 2014

I took my girlfriend to Branson for a little weekend getaway and wanted to treat her to some fine dining. Well, when in Branson, there are few options. We were very pleasantly surprised with the quality and service at Chateau Grille. The wait staff was very attentive, polite, and brought out our drinks and food quickly.
My girlfriend ordered the sea bass dish which was cooked perfectly. The flaky white fish had a great texture and the thai inspired sauce and sides it was served with were excellent. I had the swordfish which I also enjoyed thoroughly. Originally I am from the east coast; it isnt easy to find a restaurant that serves quality seafood in the midwest but Chateau may be the exception!
Would definitely recommend to the inspired foodie, or even your average Joe looking for a high quality meal.
Also, the Grand Marinier Souffle for dessert is a MUST and they have an excellent wine list.

“Beautiful View Great Food”
Reviewed July 21, 2014

We had Sunday Brunch $32. It is worth every penny! A nine course buffet...starting with a champagne mimosa ..every course excellent...they did not rush you at all....we took 2 hours to complete our brunch without realizing it was that long...a piano player there to play your requests....he is very talented...I can not rave enough about it!! If you are going to Branson don't miss this!!

“Tired menu & decor”
Reviewed June 30, 2014

Three Diamond Award of old - needs a menu & decor makeover IMHO. Although extensive Wine list, menu heavy and out-dated.

Dear ChipsW:

I am pretty sure that I have already responded to a review you wrote about your stay at the Chateau on the Lake, which included the Chateau Grille.
The Chateau Grille decor maybe a little dated however the lake views are outstanding. Whatever Mother Nature has in store for us far out shines anything else. I hope you agree. On the other hand we do have complete control over our dining room menu. Your comment has been shared with our Executive Chef and I will follow up with him as to what he plans on doing with our upcoming fall menu.

Regards,

“I Like a The Use Of Local Products”
Reviewed June 24, 2014 via mobile

Nice setting inside the Chateau On The Lake resort. They do like to use local products when possible and there is something on the menu for anyone.

First night my dinner was luke warm at best but on the second night it was better.

Good wait staff but the winner is their wine list and getting a view of the lake.

Dear bfchef,

We strive to source as many items as we can from local farmers and appreciate the fact that you took note. I apologize for the fact that your first dining experience was not up to our standards and am happy that the next night we were able to deliver a better experience!
