Owner description: SIX®, a contemporary vocal band on power-mode, features six real brothers, Barry, Kevin, Lynn, Jak, Owen and Curtis, who take musical entertainment to a whole new level. Critically acclaimed and dubbed as "an orchestra of human voices" and "masters of showmanship", these multi-talented brothers sound like a band using only their mouths. These pioneers of a cappella are six of ten Knudsen brothers who have been singing contemporary a cappella with incredible beatbox vocals and harmonizing since they were children, over 40 years in total. Their television debut in 1978 was on The Osmond Brothers Special where they performed alongside singing legends Crystal Gayle, Andy Gibb, and Bob Hope. The brothers turned their passion into a full-time career in 1995, going from singing on the streets of Los Angeles to headlining sold-out venues. SIX has since shared the stage with such famous names as Trisha Yearwood, Diana Ross, the Beach Boys, Olivia Newton John, Rod Stewart and The Doobie Brothers. Infusing lively choreography and dysfunctional family comedy into the show as only brothers can do, they perform everything from contemporary pop to R&B to classic rock ‘n’ roll to doo-wop to gospel to patriotic. They currently perform as a top-rated show in the live music capital of the world, Branson, Missouri. SIX not only continues to push the envelope, always adding new material that's fresh, unique and unexpected, but also continues to amaze audiences with their ability to consistently deliver powerhouse vocals, impeccable harmonies, and unparalleled high-end, professional production. Once you experience it, you will understand the power of SIX!

Wasn't sure what to expect as we'd been to several a'capella concerts in the past. No comparison. These guys are the real deal. They make all the sounds, even the guitar intro from "Carry On Wayward Son." And funny too. Lots of comedy and audience participation. Other reviewers are right - you can't do this show justice here. Just go. Also agree with others about youngsters loving it. Lots of 10 - 15 yr olds in the crowd and they had as much fun as us old folks had. Bottom line: this is a great show and is rated near the top of Branson shows for a reason.
As an aside; there were a small group of elderly women attending and they all needed assistance going to the ladies room, which too some time. The second half was delayed so everyone had time to use the rest rooms. That's saying people are more important that keeping on time. Good going to the staff!

This is an a capella singing group which has at least one member who mimics bass and percussion sounds with his voice .Some of them have normal hair, two are bald, and one has spikes. (see photo) The group does a nice mix of songs in different genres and styles. This is a good show to see while in Branson at the Mickey Gilley Theatre. You will not be disappointed. My favorite vocal that they do is a mimic of the THX movie sounds which you often see before a film.

These guys were fantastic. To have talent like that is impressive. The only think is when they were out front to meet the quest a couple weren't very pleasant. But the show was awesome.

Six brothers perform for 2 hrs, WITHOUT instruments! The harmony is incredible and they make all the band sounds with their mouth! If you have children with you they will go wild for this show. Us "old" folks might think sounds a little loud. Branson is changing and if they want young folks to attend they need shows like Six.
