Owner description: A highlight of the Silver Dollar City theme park, this constantly evolving wet limestone cave under the Ozark Mountains, dating back to the 1500s, provides a one-hour tour of fascinating rooms and passageways. The cave's entryway is the largest in the U.S.

The cave is long to tour, two to three times longer than others we've been on. We found the humidity level the morning of our tour to be a detractor but bearable. A fast pace shortens up the elapsed time for the length of the tour so be in decent health and physical condition or you'll be out of breath and exhausted at the end where there is a 'nice' tram waiting for you to ride the last 100 ft. or so out of the cave and to the gift shop area.

The cave is expansive and has many areas with highly active formations of beauty and majesty. The entry room is breathtaking. The cave structure is interesting and our tour guide was knowledgeable, personable, and ready to answer any questions asked. We enjoyed the cave formations, structure, and beauty. The entry room is so expansive it's breathtaking. We felt fortunate to have been able to tour through such a marvel since the air quality is monitored closely and it is not always open to tour. All in all it was a marvelous cave to tour.

Literally, it was 62 degrees, so it was pretty cool. I'm clausterphobic, but didn't have a problem with this cave. The staff were super nice and our guide absolutely knew the material inside and out. The cave walk itself is relatively short, but the formations are very cool. We went to this right after a trail ride at Uncle Ike's - very convenient to put the two of them together as they are close. Would recommend.

Marvel is truly amazing. You desent 500 feet below the surface, encounter bats, dampness and 54 degrees. Our guide took his time at certain intervals to explain several features about the history of the cave. It is strenuous but it is worth the effort.

The only thing i really didnt like was the wet handrails. I felt like i really had to wash my hands after the tour. Other than that, my son and I loved it!

This tour alone was worth the price of Silver Dollar City admission and is INCLUDED! I was simply amazed...it was like another world under there. It was so much better than expected. My four and six year olds thoroughly enjoyed and had no difficulty with the hike. I honestly think the strenuous nature of the tour is overstated by the guides. Yes, there are a lot of stairs but the walk is stop and go with time to rest. This cave was the highlight of my Branson trip!
