If you are a roller coaster enthusiest then make sure that you ride the Outlaw Run. There are lockers outside the entrance to lock up any loose items such as purses, bags, etc. Make sure that you use them as you can't take any of that on the ride. Strongly recommend that you take a large plastic bag to put cell phone, wallet, purse, etc in if going on either of the two water rides in particular the river rapids ride to prevent everything from getting soaked. The only downfall was that the lockers by the various rides were a one time access. It would be better if the lockers allowed unlimited access for a set price.

It has been several years since we visited Silver Dollar City. We were anxious to ride the new roller coaster, "Outlaw run". It was awesome. Very fast! The best way to visit SDC is to enter the park after 3, the park closes at 7 and you can attend the music show at Echo Hollow. You can come back the next day on the same ticket if you come in after 3. Great value!!

Went to Silver Dollar today. Lived the little shops. Got a great deal at the frame shop and they even personalized the picture!!! My little girl loved all the rides "the Lost River." Half of us ate the brick over pizza (it was good not great) the other half ate at the Rib Shack. I sneaked ;-) a bite if the pulled pork sand which it was good!! For an adult and child it was $114.00 for one day ticket.

If you or your grandchildren like roller coasters, this is the place to go. They had a great time. Waiting times were very short. Mine was mostly waiting not riding but there are several shade trees and air conditioned shops. Some rides left them soaking wet, which they loved. Many parking lots upon arrival. You can spend an extra $12 and park a bit closer but there are trams to haul you to the city. And I suggest you arrive before the rides open at 9:30. The park is open and you can explore and maybe eat breakfast there. The traffic from Branson can be long and congested. Several families had little wagons to pull their children or strollers. They allowed us to bring a bottle of water in. There is a big hill as you get inside. It goes down but remember you must come back up at end of day. The food was like most parks, a bit over priced but tasted good. A big selection. The funnel cakes are yummy. Save time to tour the cave. It is cool. A nice note: A couple was getting married in the Wilderness Church when we were there. Several indoor shows that looked like fun. It is not a cheap adventure but come after 3 and the next day is free.

We were pleasantly surprised at the value of this Theme Park, Free parking, Food inside was well, priced as if you weren't at a theme park. $7.99 for a Burger and fries. Not too bad. We didn't have to wait more than 10 mins for any ride.
