Catch a movie, catch a show, have a meal at McFarlains restaurant, visit a gift shop, or clock shop they're wonderful, a jewelry store, quilts, leathers. Be sure to plan extra time to visit them all. Such a neat place to go enjoy a meal, browse the shops and catch show, then visit the food court or Dino's for dessert afterward.

We went to the Nile show, then went right back, as they have a turn around plan, where if you attend one show for the regular price (8.50 with the guest book coupon) you can get a ticket for the next show for $5.00 So we stayed for the history of the Ozark story. Both were excellent

We watched the "tornado alley" imax film and it was awesome. It was our first imax film and it won't be our last. The shopping area in the complex was neat as well.

We were there on Labor Day where there isn't as large a selection of shows to see in Branson as there are most days. But my SO and I like Johnny Cash's music and this was available.

The show was excellent and quite funny. (Jim, the dolbro player, taught me that you can sing "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer" to the tune of "Folsom Prison Blues"!) And James' story about growing up in Compton as a foster child--let's just say it's incredible that he got out of that and became as successful as he has.

You do have to watch around the building for the "natural product" and timeshare resort salesmen and the food selection (other than the restaurant) is mainly junk food.

But for the price (only $25 and that was online, you can get cheaper tickets elsewhere) and time slot (5PM) it's not bad for those on a budget. (James also does the John Denver tribute show.)
