If you are considering this hotel, I'm betting that what is really drawing you to it is the price. Right? I know that is what drew me to the hotel. So, for the price, it is a perfectly serviceable hotel. However, if you are wanting 5 star amenities and fawning service, you need to be willing to pay for that at a more expensive hotel.

The hotel is very basic and currently the decor is outdated. They are in the process of refurbishing though so hopefully that will be fixed soon. It is clean. I saw no evidence of the bugs or mice that other reviews talked about. The breakfast was substantial. In addition to the normal cereal / oatmeal / bagels there was biscuits and sausage gravy, bacon and make your own waffles. Now sure, they were all probably frozen and just reheated but the food was filling and free. The hotel itself was a bit tricky to get to but you can clearly see it from the main road (hint: go to the next light and turn right, look for the sign pointing into the parking lot. If you turn into the gas station, you've turned too early).

Not much else to say. It's a cheap bed that fulfills your basic needs. If you want to save money for other things, it's perfectly serviceable. But again, it's not 5 star so come with your expectations set appropriately.

Checked in late following a long long day of driving. Found the hotel and room perfect for a restful night of sleep. Woke up to a fresh hot breakfast and off we went back down the highway. A few hours and a few hundred miles later I realized that I had left my watch back in the room. I made a phone call to the hotel manager, Nick, and he instantly confirmed that he had the watch. He mailed the watch back to my home at his expense. Now that is 'Quality' customer service. I hope to return to his hotel soon and often.

We stayed here for a national bike racing event. Staff very friendly, but going under remodeling while we were there. No clock radio in our room, went to front desk to tell them, they wrote a note that there was no clock radio in our room. Got back to room at 9:30P to find there still wasn't one there. Would have been nice to have a clock radio to see the time. Asked for extra blanket, they had none. No towels in pool area, had to walk soaking wet to front desk to tell them they were out, only given 1 would not come stock pool area. Remodeling crew throwing old room debris out 3rd floor window TOWARDS dumpster, but kept missing it and came very close to hitting cars in lot. Large gap in our door at frame, let hall lights into room all night, toilet flush valve would not close all the time, so toilet ran on and on. Nails on carpet from remodel.

Room Tip: Will be nice once remodeled and clock radios in room. RIght on highway so pretty noisey at night wit...

The hotel is horribly run down. When we checked in the staff was courteous and helpful, however when we returned hours later after a gig, and tried to get the rest of the band rooms, the man behind the desk was downright rude. Told us we didn't have rooms, refused to look up the prepaid guaranteed reservation and when we asked questions just gave us blank stares. We were just about to give up and double up in the rooms we did have, when the clerk looked down at his desk and saw a slip of paper with our last room # and key. He handed it over, did not apologize for his attitude or his error, just gave it to us and walked away.

Room Tip: choose a room on the side away from the highway.. it is very loud even with the windows closed.

Sorry you had bad experience but your band rooms were reserved on your business owner name not your name, so yeah the clerk got confused because you walked in asking for rooms that weren’t reserved on your name.

After talking to the night auditor he mentioned that you guys were trying to swim in morning. The pool closes at 10PM. There was loud singing going on in your rooms that couple rooms next morning complained about it.

We do our best to provide best service but sometimes there is lot of misunderstandings. We are currently remodeling all the rooms and it should be completed soon. I appreciate you for taking the time to leave us a review.

Thanks,
Nick Patel

Stayed at this hotel on a 3 day visit to the KC area. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. The breakfast was the usual fare for a budget hotel. Breakfast was open from 6-9 am which closes too early for weekend visitors with a family, 10 would be much better. Also, the front desk staff was a bit slow in keeping the breakfast items stocked, you shouldn't have to ask for more coffee even at a lower priced hotel. That being my only complaint, this is a good place to stay for the money, will would stay again.
