“Okay place to stay”
Reviewed August 6, 2012

The beds were super stiff, the shower stall door hung at an angle and was hard to open and close, and the carpet was coming up where it met the bathroom floor. The brick around the spa needed to be repaired, the grout was nearly nonexistent. The breakfast was mediocre and you had to get there early because at 830am there is nothing left.I suppose it was worth the $55 a night price tag. The area seemed pretty safe to me and it is close to standard shopping (target walmart). Oh and the toaster doesn't even toast your bagel/bread because they have it super glued to stay at a 1 and 2 level on the toaster so it just gets hot, not golden brown and delicious.....just saying I found that a bit ridiculous.

Spent one night here on my trip around the midwest, Single room was fairly cozy but not cramped. Lighting is located behind valances around the perimeter of the room; unusual for a Days Inn but I liked it, there's also a low wattage wall sconce that makes a perfect night light as well as plenty of electrical outlets. Wifi worked well.

We stayed 2 nights, using a coupon for $44.95, which they honored. Our room was a queen, with shower only (no tub). The room was small but clean and comfortable. The front desk clerk was friendly and working to keep the lobby and breakfast area clean.
The housekeeping staff seemed to be family members. Typical foreign owned Days Inn.
The pool was OK, hot tub was "hot" and small. Parking is limited. Breakfast was "continental", with muffins, danish, BnG, waffles, and cereal. We had a good night's rest. Easy access from the interstate, several options for eating out. Overall, there could be some maintenance improvements, but we would stay here again. It is located about 20 minutes outside of downtown KC.

We used the hotel as a budget stop along our way to Columbia. We wanted a quiet night in a clean hotel with a good breakfast. We got a clean room, nicely stocked breakfast and a sleepless night. For the price the rooms was large, the bath area clean, and recently updated. We walked down to use the pool and it was packed over twice the stated capacity. The hot tub was jammed with kids. We decided to try to get some sleep at 11pm but the room above us was so loud it sounded like a huge party with people jumping off the beds right over our heads. We asked the desk attendant three times up till about 1am to help with the noise. I am not a light sleeper or a picky traveler as you can read my numerous reviews but he could not get them to quiet down, They finally stopped at 1am only to start up again at 645am. We were exhausted from the lack of sleep. We were very thankful there was a nice breakfast at least to get us going in our state of sleep deprivation, When I told the man at the front desk of our horrible night sleep he just smiled and said "yes, I have been here for 5 years and this is how it is during little league games." Not one remark of empathy or sympathy. This attitude would be the only reason I would not reccomend the hotel.

Room Tip: Maybe the top floor would be little quieter.

My husband and I have traveled extensively, domestically and internationally. We have rarely met a front desk clerk as gracious and accommodating as Jamie at Days Inn Blue Springs. She is wonderful! We thank her so much!

Had business in Blue Springs so booked this place to be close to the people that we needed to see. Room was clean and orderly but I thought it was a little dry with the heat on. Did not sleep well but not the fault of the bed, just too dry for me. Breakfast is standard serve yourself with waffle maker and biscuits and gravy this day for the hot food. No salt and pepper to be found which I thought was odd. Plenty of sugar and sugar subs thou.
Not to much else to say. Property was clean and staff was courteous so would stay here again if in the area.\
Price was also a factor. Property on feeder road next to expressway so if you need to get to St. Louis or greater Kansas City area it would work.

The room was clean and comfortable and the shower was hot with great water pressure. They had nice flat panel tv's and free wireless internet.
The indoor pool and hot tub were nice and toasty and the staff kept them open late for us on New Year's eve.
The staff was very nice and helpful suggesting restaurants and giving us directions to the one we were interested in. Real Jalisco in Blue Springs, MO. is some of the best authentic mexican food I have tasted outside of Mexico btw, and was really close to the hotel.
The breakfast had two hot options and several continental options. Good selection.
Great stay at a great price, no complaints.

Room Tip: Try Real Jalisco for dinner you won't be disappointed.
