Beginning of our trip, had no reservation, just walked in and were pleasantly surprised by the friendly and helpful staff. Very spacious room, clean airy not old and stuffy... nice bathroom and comfy beds! Would stay there again if we would ravel same route! Breakfast was good and plenty

Room Tip: Just talk to front desk personnel about your wishes, ie quiet room not by elevator/ice maker or pool...

Nice place to spend the night. Clean. Friendly. Pets allowed. Easy access from the interstate and a large selection off places to eat close by.

Nice breakfast for a La Quinta. I would stop here again.

When we arrived we knew right away. Lobby had chunks taken out of the wall, carpet was filthy and a potent smell of disinfectant filled the air. When we opened the door to our room we almost fell over. They must have used a whole can of disinfecting spray in there. We immediately opened the window to air it out. The floor in the entrance going into the bathroom was sticky and dull. I took a wash cloth to wipe it. Needless to say, the very small area I wiped blackened the washcloth. The spigot in the bathroom was obviously cleaned with a dirty rag. The whole experience was disgusting. They need to learn you can't mask dirt and stench. You need to clean!

Keep driving. Don't stay here.

First of all I would like to say that the experience you have described must have been extremely uncomfortable and I am sorry that you and your family did have this experience.
Secondly, I did immediately have our Front Desk Supervisor check our system for your stay and we're not showing anything at our location. We think that this could have been another location.

Four friends on their first trip ever to Kansas City to see the Chiefs play. Could not have picked a better hotel to stay at. Close to Arrowhead, the mall, restaurants, Bass Pro Shops, anything you could possibly want to do while waiting for the game. Highly recommed this Excellent value for the money. We will be back to KC, and definitely back to La Quinta in Blue Springs. Thanks.
