Been staying at Happy Hollow for almost 10 years now. In laws have been going here for the past 20 years and it never gets old! Happy Hollow is a nice little resort on the banks of Table Rock Lake. It is tucked inside a quiet little cove and is no where near Highway 86 or S.R. UU. The cabins are dated, but still are able to get the job done. They come equipped with complete dishware and a full kitchen. Make sure to bring extra ice trays! Beds need to be updated, but that's minor. A covered porch overlooking Table Rock lake gives you relaxing evenings watching the sun dip down and cast shadows over the resort. We have even stayed in the studio one year. It is ok for two people and isn't but a short walk away from the lake. Only problem with the room is if kids are in the country cottage, you will hear every step they make! The grounds are very nice! Linda and Ed recently had to fix the pool due to the flood. The pool is larger and they even added a large hot tub! Nice dock if you have a boat and you can swim or float off the dock in the clean water of Table Rock Lake. Ed typically does fireworks once a week during the summer months (weather permitting). I look forward to visiting this place every year for vacation and can't wait to be there this June!
