We spent one night in this gorgeous B&B, with my parents staying in the Garden Room and us (couple) staying in the Blue Room. Both rooms plus adjoining bathrooms are refurbished to high standards and very tastefully decorated. The owners put a lot of thought into many details to provide guests with a perfect experience, including high quality shower amenities and fair-traded tea/coffee making products. We greatly enjoyed the views - both from the rooms and from the breakfast area - as the house is located in a beautiful country-setting and surrounded by a large garden. Breakfast was plenty and delicious, including home-made cakes, fresh fruit and full English breakfast options. Margaret, the owner, is a very charming host who made us feel truly welcome throughout our stay.

Stayed overnight last Monday and wish I had stayed longer. West Tyning is a beautiful House in a tranquil, rural position between Bristol and Bath, Only 15 mins drive into the centre of Bath. Unlike central Bath B+Bs there is no problem parking, whatever time you arrive! Nicely decorated bed room and bathroom - I stayed in the Garden Room- with lovely view over the garden and countryside.. Breakfast is taken in the pretty conservatory. Again, thought has gone into the decor and detail. Breakfast was very tasty and my wheat allergy was catered for. Margaret is a charming host and I recommend a stay here.

A friend and I stayed recently during a trip to Bath. The house is set in a beautiful garden, down lovely english lane ways, and feels miles away from anything, although its only a few minutes from Bath and Bristol. Margaret was a fantastic host, and the breakfast she cooked up was fabulous! Also highly recommend the pub down the road (Margaret can book a table for you). West Tyning was a brilliant place to stay.

Lovely setting and views from the house. A nice relaxed set-up which is close to Bath and Bristol. Good value, especially compared with Bath city prices. The host, Margaret, offered some useful tips on places to go and things to do. Fully recommended.

Room Tip: We stayed in the the Blueroom which was a good size and can be used as a link room.

My husband and I stayed for one night on the way down to Cornwall. We stayed in the blue room which was lovely and clean, light and airy and with lovely views of the countryside and magnificant gardens. Margaret was the perfect host and even rang the local pub for us to book a table for our evening meal. We had a really lovely breakfast and would definitely stay again. The ideal start to our holiday.

Lovely house with a beautiful garden between Bath and Bristol. We had a great time there (bedroom + breakfast) thanks to Margaret. It was our first experience in a B&B and We hope to come back again and to stay more than one night this time...

West Tyning B&B is located right between Bristol and Bath and close to the picturesque Cotswolds. While it feels like you're miles from anything, there's a great local pub with good meals just up the road. Surrounded by beautiful gardens and farm land you can't get much more tranquil than here. Margaret is a wonderful host and her generous, extensive breakfast menu is delicious! The rooms are gorgeous and spotless. I couldn't believe Margaret had only just started this business a few months ago as everything is very professional as if you are staying in a boutique hotel, but with a few homely touches. I only wish we had booked for longer! Highly recommended.
