6 of us visited Thatchers day out, we stayed in Weston Super Mare and had a taxi there and back got there at 11.00 am, what a splendid sunny day out, the staff were all friendly and knowledgeable of all the process, we toured the canning factory and the orchard tour, sampled as much cider we could manage especially the one's which are not readily available in my neck of the wood's, there was a stall selling cans of cider at only £1.50 bargain, there was rides and bouncy castle's for the kid's and bands playing variety of music,we visited the well stocked shop and stocked up with the one's we could not buy locally to us, there is no need to book just turn up but be prepared to queue for the tours, but hey drink a can whilst you wait, met Martin Thatcher who is an absolute gentleman having a selfie with my mates wife, see you all again in 2 years time hopefully

We visited on the open day, it was brilliant, plenty of sampling to be done, did a couple of the tours. Staff were all very knowledgeable. Ventured over to railway before journey home. We will be back

My husband and I went along to the Open Day from 11.00am to 3.00pm. We arrived on a gorgeous sunny Satuday afternoon at 12.30pm. Very busy but managed to get parking in the car park a short walk away.
There was plenty of sampling going on - my husband enjoyed very much finding a few he hasn't drunk before - i tried a couple but designated driver. Queues for the food and drink very long but you do finally get your order albeit food was nearly an hour of queuing. Pints of cider £3.00 very reasonable. We watched the band enjoying the sunshine which played the whole time we were there. We watched apple pressing. We would have like to do the orchard tour and factory tour but queues were just too long - another day
We finished off the day with a visit to the shop and bought a variety of ciders, a lovely lady cider glass and a Green Goblin t-shirt for my hubbie
Even was free to get in and very well organised

We booked the cider tour & it was fab! Really knowledgeable staff & a really comprehensive tour of the cider making process - we'd also by happy coincidence booked just as harvest had started so got to see the apples arriving! The cider tasting at the end was fab - all delicious & some lovely anecdotes told by the staff.

I came here with my long term girlfriend. Its a favourite place of ours to come for an argument. I recall an argument we had here in 2015 (it was the best one yet). Unfortunately this visit was a Haze for both of us and somehow she woke up with a broken foot. I’m ok with that. But the delay in A and E caused my return to London to coincide with stokes and leachs heroic ashes victory.
This is where I start to have an issue. If it wasn’t for your delicious cider, would my girlfriend have ever broken her foot? And more importantly, would I have missed what has been called the best ashes comeback in living memory (I’m 28 I never got to see bothams ashes. And as much as I would like to blame my girlfriend for that, i just feel I can’t)

So In conclusion, your cider is delicious, but you must be careful with it. It might just ruin the best sporting moment of your life.
