I have stayed here before and really had a good stay, but this trip was not as good. Part of it may be that I checked in on a Saturday evening at 7. My flight got in at 6:15 p.m., and a friend was picking me up at 7 to bring me to the show where by boyfriend was performing. I expected to have at least 20 minutes at the hotel before he got there. If it weren't for the time pressure I probably wouldn't have minded waiting so much. I called from Chicago to find out whether I needed to pre-schedule the shuttle. They said to call when I got my bags, so I called from the phone bank at about 6:25 and went to the appointed area. While I was waiting for the shuttle, many people came and went to many different hotels. I saw at least one hotel come by twice while I was waiting (Crowne Plaza) and I was about the only one left when it finally got there at about 6:50. The driver was very apologetic but instead of just heading right back, we spent several minutes discussing what he could do about it and all I wanted was to get to the hotel. We had already paid for breakfast so we didn't need that. They gave away tons of breakfasts that day because of renovations in the concierge lounge. Anyway, we finally got to the hotel at about 7, and there were 3 people ahead of me with only one front desk girl. She was very pleasant, but my ride called while I was waiting in line. I had to hurry to change and get back down, so had no time to do hair or makeup :( The next morning, breakfast took forever since they were so busy and didn't seem to have the extra staff. Everyone was very pleasant and tried to be helpful, but they just seemed understaffed and it caused us some scheduling problems. But if you have more leisurely plans you should be fine. I will stay there again, since hopefully it will be less rushed next time. We had a corner room, which was VERY quiet and clean, and the towels were really good.
