We recently stayed at the Renaissance after arriving back into St. Louis from Punta Cana, DR. We were nervous of previous reviews of vandalism but did not experience any of this. This was a very nice room with extremely comfortable beds. We were exhausted and needed some rest before traveling home. The Renaissance delivered!!

I travel to St. Louis on business frequently and have stayed at all of the major chains near STL. The Renaissance is my preferred choice. The rooms are pretty standard but the lobby is nice. The service from the front desk is always warm and welcoming. The lobby bar is a good place to meet or have a nightcap. There is a Starbucks in the lobby. Parking is generally easy ( not true at some of the others nearby).
Overall I'd recommend this hotel if you need to be in St Louis near the airport.

Stayed there one night last week while on a sightseeing trip. We were upgraded to a king executive room which was super-nice- huge room, large soaking tub, really nice bed. Would definitely stay there again.

Used the Renaissance for three nights, two rooms. Our daughter was graduating nearby and we needed a place close to the airport for the final day. The employees were as good as any I ever hired (I ran a resort and a ski area before becoming a teacher). The restaurant was not cheap, but priced according to its rating. On Saturday, there were some people who were a bit out of place, bringing in coolers of beer for partying, but we were never remotely disturbed. High-price WiFi in the room, again in line with rating, sadly. It is free in the lobby, where you find very comfortable seating and horrible Muzack. I hardly ever give fives, would have liked to be able to give 4.75.

Room Tip: Priceline or online specials.

We recently stayed a few nights with our two children ages ten and one. The hotel gave us a complimentary upgrade which was great as this allowed more space in the room for our kids. The grounds and rooms are very clean and nice. Our room had a large soaking tub which was great after a busy day. We went during the week and never saw any other kids our entire stay. This worked out perfect for us as we had both the indoor and outdoor pools to ourselves each day. The staff was helpful and friendly. A great hotel and a great stay!
