Located in a former Pizza Hut building, Mi Pueblito offers a surprisingly strong selection of Mexican options at a reasonable price. Highlights are the chili colorado, chili verde, and the BIG margaritas. The combination plates are all good. Be sure to check the board and posted signs for specials and other unusual dishes not shown on the menu.

I've been to Mi Pueblito on several visits to Belton, and I consider it to be a treat.

We love this place! We frequent restaurants on Southwest Boulevard in KC but this place ranks right up there. All the food is good but we especially love the bean dip. They pour white cheese dip over the top of it and it is a bargain. Also, the margaritas are a deal and are tasty! Seems they are always on special for a dollar! Give this place a try!

We really love Mi Pueblito. Best authentic-style food in town! Haven't had anything yet that we didn't like and they are very family-friendly. Service is excellent too!

Save your money. Sadly this place has declined. The food is not worth the money. The salsa and queso are watered down. The beef is not good at all. It's greasy and always tastes over cooked. The chicken is slightly better, but dry. Sad to see what was once a good Mexican place go downhill. On the upside, they have good Pepsi if you care for that...

I grew up in KC, but moved to Texas about 35 years ago and have become addicted to great Tex Mex. There always have been a few good places in KC, but this is the best I have had for awhile. We had a group of 7 that was quickly seated and served. The guac. was great, cheese queso was watery, but it's not one of my addictions anyway.
The menu was massive, probably over 50 entries, but you could go a la carte too.
I had the fajita pueblito, a combo of their flat ribs, 6 shrimp, chicken and been and a little chorizo too. Enough for two for about 10 bucks, excellant!!
Try their marinated pork dishes, more Mexican than Tex Mex.
Doesn't top Joe T's in Fort Worth, but definitely a great place to eat.
