Excellent 10 out of 10 , was meet by Elaine on our arrival , who was very pleasant & charming. The first thing we needed was a nice cuppa , & to out surprise the fridge & Cupboards had been stocked with a few very important items after a long drive , namely tea , coffee, milk , sugar ice cold beers sandwich making groceries & a cake well needed after a long & tedious journey from Birmingham
The lodge was first class , extremely comfortable,& clean , Elaine was very knowledgeable about what attractions to visit ( we were working so didn’t get the chance ) very quiet & peaceful area , we had many an evening just watching the red squirrels, jays & all the other wonderful wildlife feeding Just outside our window
Would definitely return again it’s somewhere where you can chill out & Just admire the beautiful surroundings
Had a peaceful and relaxing long weekend away, in this fantastic retreat. The lodge was immaculately clean and extremely well equipped and comfortably housed our group of 4 adults and 2 children. A great base for exploring the surrounding area, conveniently located between Omagh and Enniskillen. The wood burning stove and outdoor sitting area were an added bonus, not to mention the forest and stream on the doorstep. Thoroughly recommended for anyone longing for a tranquil escape!
Myself, my partner and our 8 year old daughter stayed at Killaculla lodge for a second visit in August. We all had such a great time. It was so relaxing and the break from technology was definitely needed. I had the best sleep I've ever had! I cannot recommend this place enough and my daughter is already planning the next visit. The lodge is spotless and has everything you could ever need. The owner is also very helpful. During our stay we traveled to Donegal and visited Tullan strand beach and Rossnowlagh beach. I would not hesitate to recommend the lodge. We look forward to a third visit.
We had a very nice, quiet and relaxing time at Killaculla Lodge and the weather was perfect. Four beautiful sunny days at around 25c - we couldn't of asked for better. The picnic table and green space outside was a real treat.
We were made feel very welcome on arrival and everything you would need was available in the lodge; from milk and eggs to towels and a tumble dryer. My father enjoyed the reclining armchair by the stove and my 15 month old nephew even got to see his first squirrel (- the infamous red squirrel.)
The highlight of the trip would be our visit to Devinish Island by ferry. Stunning scenery over lough erne.
I would highly recommend Killaculla Lodge.
This Lodge is wonderful, it was absolutely spotless and had everything you could possibly need and more. It was a fantastic find! a real home from home. The Lodge is very spacious throughout and although rustic on the outside it is extremely modern and well kept inside. The location is idyllic and peaceful, you could sit and watch the red squirrels and the beautiful array of birds all day from the window. The Lodge backs onto a stream and has a lovely forest view. It is centrally located to all the highlights of Fermanagh such as Castle Archdale, Donegal, Marble Arch Caves, Castle Crom and Florence Court to mention a few. The owner was very welcoming and helpful. We will definitely make a return visit.
Recently stayed here with my family and we had a lovely time. Cabin is very well presented and had everything that you need to make your stay stress free! Comfortable beds, very clean and very well presented. Will definitely be back and would definitely recommend to my family and friends!!
We have just returned from a very restful weekend in this wonderful cabin hidden away in beautiful Fermanagh countryside. We were amazed at the size of the cabin and quality of the furnishings - this is a top quality rental. Eggs, bread, orange juice, tea, good coffee and milk all provided along with a large basket of logs for the log burner. The weather was kind to us so we enjoyed breakfast at the picnic table listening to the soothing noise of the river behind the cabin and watched a great variety of birds enjoying the bird feeders. This really is wonderful place to get away from it all and enjoy a restful and peaceful break. Loads to do in the area with Lough Erne only ten minutes away and some excellent eating places around Ederney.
