“Beautiful, clean rooms. Recommended.”

The Inn At Ole Miss seems to have undergone renovations recently. The room I had was spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished. Very comfortable bed and high-quality bedding. Staff was friendly. Parking is plentiful and free. A first-class hotel, all the way, at a decent rate...

Stayed at the Inn at Ole Miss this past weekend for my annual rugby reunion. Rooms were reserved for our group through the University Alumni Association (wife and I are class of '84). Secured a suite with two double beds and a fold out coach to accomodate my family of six. This was during an "off" weekend, so we did not compete with the football crowd. Rate was $150 per night for the suite which included continental breakfast (cereals, juices, grits, toast, bagels, oatmeal, coffee). Room was located in new tower and was fantastic. Had a Grove facing view. Comfortable mattresses with comforters, microwave, fridge, wet bar, bath and a half, two flat screen tv's. Great location for campus and Oxford access (both in easy walking distances). Pool was open and my wife and daughter swam (this was part of the original Inn I believe). Only down side to weekend was out-of-control wedding party. Several calls to front desk did little to alleviate the commotion continuing until about 2:00 a.m. Apologies were made by staff, but nothing else. Other than that, constuction continues about the sight, but that was a minor inconvenience. We will stay there again when presented with the opportunity.

My husband and I chose to stay at the Inn at Ole Miss over several other motels in Oxford, even though it was slightly more expensive than their competitors. We were there during the University's Academic Advising period in March '08 for four days. They gave us a great room overlooking the pool. The pool was still closed at this time of the year, but it was still a nice view. It was an easy walk to the varied and generous continental breakfast that included homemade hot southern dishes and fresh fruit (in addition to the traditional continental pastries and breads). Our room was clean, neat and new with everything working fine. The bathroom sink was a little small - but it reminded me of the quaint bathrooms in Inns in Europe. The common areas and lobby were beautifully and attractively maintained and it was a breath of fresh air to stay at the Inn. Our only disappointment was when we sent out some items to be dry-cleaned through the front desk service and they came back wrong from the dry-cleaner in town. Although we realized that it was the responsibility of the dry-cleaner, when we questioned the front desk staff about it, they were indifferent to us and a bit defensive. We would definitely stay at the Inn again, though, without a doubt.

  • Liked — Pretty, Attractive Decor...and the Continental Breakfast
  • Disliked — Lack of good Customer Service w/ front desk staff after hiccup with dry-cleaning

The inn is hard to find if you do not know your way around campus. The room was old but clean. The bathroom had no vanity and the smallest sink in the world. There was a nice continental breakfast next door.

Great location on the Ole Miss campus and a five-minute walk to Oxford Square, the library and the stadium. Friendly and helpful front desk staff, free wireless, complimentary Southern buffet breakfast and large nicely furnished rooms – a great place to stay.

My son is a freshman this year at Ole Miss, and a friend told me about this great hotel located on the university campus. I booked a room expecting a dorm like environment, but instead it turned out to be a wonderfully cozy, friendly hotel. Neither my son or myself had any idea where we were going in Oxford, but the fantastic staff pointed us in the right direction. Loved this place and we will definitely be back!
