The Gold Strike Casino, Tunica is a wonderful place to stay and play. The room we stayed in was a beautiful, clean, comfortable room. The slot selection is fabulous. All of the staff is extremely friendly and helpful, I highly recommend staying at this resort.

Best place to stay and play! All the rave reviews are true and we will certainly go back again soon. Most of the reviews complained about the food so we opted for room service. What a great surprising treat! Most room service brings a tray, drops it on your desk, holds out their hand and leaves. Not here - it arrived on a tableclothed cart, rolled right to your bed and set up by a most courteous server. We ordered gumbo, desserts and water. From an oven under the cart he pulled the large oversized bowls of steaming hot gumbo with rice, poured the ice cold water from the carafe into the glass goblets, placed it all with cloth napkins and silverware onto the table cart containing a small vase of real flowers! It doesn't get better than that! The desserts are HUGE (more than enough for one), freshly made and delicious. The cost was very reasonable and much less than we anticipated. When we offered the tip we were told it was already included as gratuity on the bill, but we still gave him the extra $ and happy to do so! The bellman and valet service was very nice too. When we checked out the desk clerk asked if there was anything they could have done to make our stay more enjoyable and we told her we certainly did not think so. Try it - you'll love it! Thanks Gold Strike :)

Room Tip: The tip here is to order the Room Service!

Stayed here for the country music festival. The buffet was the only only disappointment. Rooms are very clean and the nicest casino in town. The steakhouse isn't too expensive and was good compared to the other ones in town.

This was my first stay at the Gold Strike Casino Resort. I was most impressed with the layout of the casino and the décor. It is a very classy hotel. The rooms were spacious, decorated well and the beds were very comfortable. I enjoyed the casino area as well. They have lots of space on the floors and beautiful gaming machines. They even had some of my old favorites like "Cashman." The breakfast buffet was really good. I will be going back.

We were on our way back from New Orleans. Good value. Poker room was disappointing. We were there during the week so it was slow. It seemed like most people were an older crowd. We went to the poker room at the Horseshoe next door where there was more action.

`We've been coming to Gold Strike for years and will be back. The rooms are "comfy" you don't want to get out of bed. All resturants have good food. Personally, we didn't like the bufett, but that's just our opinion. The slot machines were good to us this time especially the $1.00 ones.

As for Tunica Hotels, this is first class. We were upgraded to a suite, and it was beautiful. Classy furniture, comfortable bed and feather pillows, lots of space, double sink, coffee pot, extra cable channels. Somehow, this whole area, including Memphis is not up to date on 4g phone service. The only time I was able to get online from my phone, was in downtown Tunica, about 10 minutes away. Even though you can get wi-fi on laptop, the cell phone service is really bad. Not much choice of food here, just a buffet (21$) and a few fast food type walk up places for pizza and burgers. In fact, the hotel is in a cluster of 3 casinos, none of which have much choice for food. Entertainment runs every night in the casinos. Gambling was really tight ( i must have played 20+ games and never won anything) Stick to table games or dice in this area.

Room Tip: Ask for a high floor, better views
