We had a superb dinner at TJ's Steakhouse. The filet was delicious, as were the carrots and broccoli/cauliflower casserole. Service was attentive, too. Highly recommended. Some great games in the casino, too.

Just returned from a 3 night stay. We had a family reunion in Tunica. 14 of us stayed at Resorts and the other 4 stayed at Harrahs. They tell us we had the better deal. The room was only $25 a night and for that price it was great. The place is dated to say the least. The carpet is stained, but the room was clean and the bed very comfortable. All staff was very helpful and friendly. We all ate one night at TJs. They had a steak/lobster deal for $19.99. We had coupons for buy one get one free. The place was great and the food was delicious. We all marveled at how good it was and this meal was the best we had for our 3 day stay. I would recommend it even if you don't have the coupon. The casino is old also and did not have a lot of the newer slots we have seen elsewhere; however the second day of our stay they had roped off about half of the casino floor and were in the process of bringing in new slot machines. Unfortunately they were not up and functional during our stay. The slots were tight, not just here but everywhere. No one in our party won anything anywhere. They had lots of tables and the dealers were very friendly. Drink service was spotty, but if we went to the bar we were given drinks for a tip. Guess you can't complain about that. Apparently their computers were down when we checked out. Back for 24 hours now and the charges still haven't posted to our credit card. I only hope they are correct.

We stayed at Resorts for our "engagement weekend" and it was wonderful! I can't say enough about how nice our room was, and the linens especially. Very high thread count, ladies! We didn't have to leave the parking lot to play golf, they have $3 blackjack and the best $19.99 FILET and lobster special you could ask for! We were comp'ed FREE buffets for playing table games and had Saturday and Sunday brunch for $1 each. Unbelieveable stay, cannot wait to go back and will definitely stay here again! Hollywood Casino is within walking distance, but we drove over to Sam's Town. And if you have time, downtown Memphis is only about 30 minutes away. You should take a day trip and go to Beale Street and have the ribs at BB Kings. Our trip was PERFECT for a couples get-a-way! Maybe we will go back for our honeymoon!!!!! :)

Room Tip: We stayed on the first floor and the ceilings were at least 11-12 feet. Very elegant. But i have no idea about the other floors. We stayed in room 157, which was at the end of the hall. We will try to get this same room again!

For a $25 a weeknight stay and $75 weeknight stay, I was shocked at the quality of the room. It was good furnishings, very clean, and I really couldn't have asked for a better room. We were there to gamble, and enjoyed playing the table games and thought the buffet was good for comped food. We really love the food at Big Burger, but I think there has been a change and it's now just open from 10 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. I didn't feel like this would be a good place to bring kids because there is no swimming pool, but it was great for a couple!
