“Not Replay's but it'll do”
Review of Field House Restaurant - CLOSED

This was our first visit to the newly opened Field House. We were hoping it would be a throwback to Replay's because they had the best burgers. While it didn't live up to our expectations, it wasn't as bad as some of the reviews. The burgers weren't to die for like Replay's but were still good. I was surprised to find a good salad on the menu that was made with fresh ingredients. We didn't have any problems waiting for drinks or food. Service moved along nicely. Overall not a bad experience and we'll probably go back.

Our server was so inattentive it was unbelievable. She first got my
hubby's order wrong, he ordered a Reuben, got a chopped up cheese steak with Cheese whiz, not kidding. Strike one. The salad I got was chock full of iceberg lettuce chunks and old brown spotted avocado. Scary Cobb salad is what they should call it. Strike two. Then the server delivered the bill, went away, never came back (strike 3) so 15 min. Later I strolled up to the bar, the manager said, I'll take your payment. 27.00 and 0 tip later, we were outta there. Now I know why the place was virtually empty. Oh, yeah we didn't gamble at Harrah's either, but at horseshoe and had a great time. Wish we would have eaten there too.

The fieldhouse offered quick service, the food temperature was good and the portion sizes were reasonable.

One thing that we noticed about all the Harrah's properties eating establishments, (buffets included) they run a lot more pricy than their competitors. Gold Spike was around 1/2 price and so was Boyd's.

If you are looking for a sit down in a casual atmosphere then this is a good idea, just don't expect the moon.

We went to Fieldhouse becase Paula Deans was no longer serving breakfast. There was no wait. Waiters were friendly. We got drinks and our order taken right away. The food was very good. There was a big party seated about the same time as us. The seated tables were scattered but this was due to the smoking and nonsmoking sections. IT did take awhile to get our food. But without even asking we did get a discount. We did see some people walk out even after they had gotten and eaten most of their food. Im willing to go back and try this place again. The atmoshphere is sportsbar and their speciality is hamburgers any way you want them.

This is a restaurant on the 2nd floor of Harrah's casino in Tunica Ms. We attempted to eat breakfast here on Monday, 11-5-12. Were seated right away. Many empty tables scattered around. It took about 10 minutes before a server came and took the drink orders, water and coffee. After about 20 minutes we finally had our water and coffee and the order had been taken. We could see that our server was waiting on 3 tables that were spread out, and it seemed no one was getting drink or food in a timely manner. After about 25 minutes, we decided to leave, so we went up to a counter where the server was and asked to pay for the coffee (which my wife said tasted bad). She said that we would have to talk to the manager, who was at one of the other tables discussing a problem. We waited a couple of minutes and decided we had enough of this place and just walked out. Spoke briefly to others coming in of the long wait and they turned and left also. I felt bad for not paying for the 1 cup of coffee but just wanted to not waste any more time there. I can not comment on the food because we never made it that far, but the service needs a lot of improving.
