“Could be Awesome”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 14, 2014

Beautiful Park. We enjoyed this very much. It was free and a beautiful day. It would definitely be a 5 star if it was better used. We did not go into the museum. There was a charge and we had been to many museums this trip so we just enjoyed the outdoors. The nature trail was really nice and you could walk a long way or take a short walk. Rockers were nice touch to just sit and enjoy the river. We would have loved to take the river cruise (I think it is inexpensive) but supposedly the captain was sick. I find this hard to believe but anyway we did not have the opportunity to try it out. Obviously the area needs to boost the number of people who come there.

Nice, modern facility to visit the Mississippi. The building is updated with a great view of the river. There is also nice nature trails that can be visited.

“Tunica Queen River Ride”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 28, 2014

Took the 12 noon ride. It was a very slow ride up river for about 2 miles and then back. Wished I had brought a hat, to keep the sun off. Ride was ok, not anything exceptional.

If you enjoy touring historical museums you should really stop in for a visit if in the Tunica area. $10 admission. Very informative. Tells the history of the Mississippi River with videos, artifacts. Located right on the river with scenic views. Nice parking area and a 3rd floor observation deck.

“Did some geocaching here.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 13, 2014

The Park actually placed a dozen geocaches in the Park which is unusual. We thank them!! Saw a cute chubby raccoon near the large ship propeller displayed.
