We work out of town alot and frequent this hotel. It's not a 5 star hotel but the staff is great and the rooms are clean. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Hot breakfast, flat screen TV, and comfortable beds. We will always stay here when working in Jackson.

We had been on the road all day, so we decided to stay here. It was late at night so as you know, night appearances are quite different from the day. LOL! The lobby was decent so hey we give it a try. Got to our room on the first floor in the back and first thing the key doesn't work...Go back to front desk, oh we have a few rooms with programming issues..OK....got another room on the first floor, same thing,,,so third times a charm....Finally, a room. The room smelled of old smoke and the floor needed vacuuming. Luckily, we had our own beddings in the truck because that is what we slept on with our own pillows. It wasn't clean and I was ready to go but we were so tired.

Will not recommend this location to anyone.

I probably would not have stopped here due to the outward appearance. We were travel hostages with family members who are card carrying members affiliated with this chain. It is adequate for rolling in late and flopping down exhausted for the night. Seemed clean enough. The area seemed run down with a defunct Shoney's Restaurant in front of hotel. The outside access to 2nd floor was sketchy looking with nonworking ice and pop machines (both floors). No ice, people. What? Breakfast was good.

We stayed 1/16-14. We had been on the road all day and looking off a comfortable clean stay. This was not it! I myself work at a quality inn and this hotel is no where near quality standards. The microwave was caked with old food. The floor had not been vacuumed. There was also stuff in our sink and shower. We had also requested a roll a way and never got one then got charged for one in the morning. When I inquired about the situation I was told it could not be taken off and that they did not even have any on the property. This is ridiculous. Horrible room advertising, dirty room and not willing to take care of there guest. I would recommend to no one, nor will we be choosing again.

Contrary to some of the reviews posted here, I like this place a lot. As a touring musician I've stayed in thousands of hotels and motels across America. The Quality Inn North in Ridgeland, MS is one place I come back to again and again when I am in the Jackson area. At half the price of surrounding hotels, it works for me. Spacious rooms, fast Wi-Fi, good complimentary breakfast, clean and comfortable, and right in the middle of a major shopping area. For families and ladies, it is also quite safe, with frequent police patrols keeping watch. I enthusiastically recommend The Quality Inn North.

This quality inn was NOt up to the usual quality of the inns. It had mold in the bathroom and the bathroom near the breakfast room was terrible. The doors were old and splintered and the whole of the place (inside) looked like a very old hotel that had been let go. I would NOT recommend anyone staying there

This property seems to be turning into a weekly stay for construction workers. The room was clean. It also was near a stairwell and the worker bees were up at 4:30 am. Breakfast was average. The outside needs a major power wash. Parking lot had litter. Needs pillow updates.

Room Tip: Don't be near stairs.

Thank you for your comments, and I want you to know that we really do appreciate the feedback. I must apologize for the inconveniences that you encountered, and have already met with our maintenance manager, executive housekeeper and guest services manager, to discuss these noted issues.
However, we have adopted and implemented new policies at our hotel and this period has been a bit of a challenge at times, but the finished product will be outstanding.
I hope that you will consider returning to our hotel, and we look forward to another opportunity to be of service.
