“Best Barbecue in Oxford”
Review of Handy Andy

It's amazing how consistently delicious the barbecue is at Handy Andy's. In the local newspaper's poll, for the tenth year in a row, Handy Andy was selected as the best barbecue restaurant in Oxford. On weekdays at lunch, the restaurant is almost always packed, and there is often a line for ordering. Friends tell us that the hamburgers and cheeseburgers are also outstanding, but we go only for the barbecue. Unfortunately there is no beer to accompany the food, but that can easily be remedied by taking it home if you live in town. You can hear the barbecue being chopped as you wait, and you know that it's fresh.

Had a great time at Handy Andy this past weekend. The burgers are fresh, and melt in your mouth. It is worth the trip.

I've only been there a few times with co-workers, but it's got to be good because it is always packed! Highly recommend the pulled pork plate.

I don't even know where to start, it was all so good. Hamburger, fantastic. Baked beans had bits of pulled pork. Mustard based potato salad. Banana pudding that is simply some of the best. All for way under ten dollars. I would be here weekly if I lived here.

One of the last glimpses of "old" Oxford. Lots of locals and plenty of university students, faculty, and staff eat here. The decor is nothing to write home about, but it's comfortable and the staff is invariably friendly and welcoming.
