Description: Family owned and operated, SideStreet Burgers is about simplicity but also creativity. We're about the American classic but also about a world of culinary opportunities. Give us a try. You won't regret it. Memphis-born Chef Jonathan Mah has been in the kitchen for most of his life. Before he could drive, he was working the grill in his father's steakhouse and by the time he could vote, he was earning his chops at Koto's and Erling Jensen's, two top-tier fine dining establishments. In college Chef Mah majored in hotel and restaurant management at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville and would go on to work for Chateau Elan Winery and Resort in Georgia. Afterwards, Chef Mah spent some time in the corporate world as general manager of a Chili's in North Georgia. Last year Chef Mah returned to Memphis to serve as the Executive Sous Chef at Alchemy in Cooper Young. Now, he's back in Mississippi running his own ship and dishing out some of the top burgers in the county.

“Best food in Olive Branch”

Delicious burgers! Love the turkey and spinach burger, Fat Panda, Hot Pig, loaded potatoes and Irish car bomb bread pudding. Really everything I've had here has been very good. Service is friendly but don't expect a lot in terms of atmosphere. But if you like handmade FRESH food over processed frozen junk, this is THE place in O.B.

“Great food!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 30, 2014

I have eaten here several times and have always enjoyed it. The fat panda is an awesome sandwich! The turkey burger is great too. We like the roasted potatoes loaded with most our sandwiches. Try the mac & cheese too!

“Best Burgers in the Olive Branch/Mid-South”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 2, 2014

This is a really unique restaurant and can be hard to find it you are not looking carefully. When you walk in the place it seems quite small, but please don't let this prevent you from coming because you would be missing out on great food! First you go through a small walkway to order your food. The owner/chef greets you right away and is more than willing to make recommendations. There are more than just your typical burgers on the menu. I tried the Fat Panda which was wonderfully Korean style beef on a delicious French bread that helped soaked up the juices. This was topped off with sriracha mayo and cilantro. The mayo was not too hot and the meat was perfectly marinaded and cooked. Afterwards, I could still smell the delicious beef on my fingers and this is causing me to want to go there for dinner! My husband tried the Sidestreet 1/2 lb burger with cheese and bacon as well as garlic potato wedges. He really enjoyed his food and thought it was well seasoned. A word of caution -- they only take cash so be prepared. My only complaint was that the dining area was a little cold as it was 33 degrees outside. Like I said before, the place is a little small in an older building, but the food was well worth it. I will definitely be returning to try out other menu items. Wonder if my husband would mind going to the same place for lunch and dinner.
