I really wanted to like this place. It's a charming little restaurant tucked away just off of a main street through town. The wait staff was bubbly, though very slow considering there were only 5 parties in the restaurant when we initially got there and sat down to order. But the food just left much to be desired and I felt the price was too high considering this. The bill came to $25 for 2 entrees and 1 cup of coffee - seemed like a lot for a waffle, a sandwich and a bowl of soup that didn't turn out very well in my opinion. I don't think we'll be back, though we did like the atmosphere and the friendly wait staff.

This place is off the main traffic areas....but worth the trouble to find.We have only had breakfast there. Both times....VERY good. Wife had an excellent omelet. A nice bonus was the sourdough toast. I did the biscuits and sausage gravey.....yummy ...coffee and service were both good. The only complaint was the hashbrowns...a bit dry...but the quality of the the rest of the meal made that a minor problem. Give Bayview a try.. you'll like it!!!

This place does an amazing Mother's Day breakfast and champagne brunch which is amazing. Filet smothered with crawfish and crabmeat sauce... is outstanding. It is definitely worth it.

Cranberry muffins this morning had only a very few cranberries. Last week they were so full and tart that is why we returned! Who forgot the cranberries and goodies for the muffins. Won't be buying my favorite muffins made with this recipe!

We went here for breakfast on a recommendation from some friends. The atmosphere and service were excellent. We booth ordered a Benedict type dish. They were served on a "holland rusk" which tasted like a thick piece of dried melba toast. The poached eggs were tiny and flavorless. The overall flavored were good, the sauces and sides were excellent.
