“Red Beans & Rice with sausage plus local beer”
Reviewed October 30, 2013

The best part is the price. It's not downtown in the quaint part of the city but it's not far and right on the main hwy 90/Bienville Rd. Very good. Nice lunch portion. Restaurant open till 3 p.m. The menu has a large variety including salads. We got the special and only 8.00. Can't beat that. Plus they have framed autographs of famous people who are from MS all over the walls. Cozy with nice tablecloths and cloth napkins. Great atmosphere. They have local beers too.

“Authentic, fresh Southern food”
Reviewed October 27, 2013

My husband and I wanted to eat fresh seafood while we visited the coast, and we read the great reviews for B B's. It's just north of the walkable downtown area, and we were both so glad that we ate here. We kept exclaiming over our shrimp po-boys and house-made crawfish bisque as we were eating them. The shrimp tasted fresh and had a very light breading, and there were plenty of large, tender pieces of crawfish in the savory bisque. I loved the atmosphere of this place -- the walls are lined with framed portraits of famous Mississippians, and the friendly owner stopped by our table to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. It's a great family restaurant, lively enough that kids and babies won't disturb other diners. Don't miss it!

“Excellent Po'Boys”
Reviewed September 16, 2013

Stopped by here for lunch on the way to New Orleans. It has a very welcoming atmosphere with a lot of Mississippi and New Orleans memorabilia on the walls. We ordered Shrimp and Oyster Po'Boys. The Po' Boys were so good! You can tell that they take pride in their food. We loved our lunch! Also, we got there in the late afternoon almost at closing time and there was no issue getting a table. One of the owners was our server and she was so sweet and nice. Real southern charmer with a genuine friendly demeanor and disposition. We told her we were headed to Nola and she and her husband (the other B of BB) recommended some places to eat and visit in the Big Easy. If we are ever nearby, we will definitely come back for a great meal!

“Try the shrimp po-boy”
Reviewed September 13, 2013

We are very familiar with Ocean Springs, but had not eaten at BB's in many years. We definitely enjoyed the fried shrimp. The breading was light, not heavy or greasy.
The atmosphere is not fancy because it is mostly frequented by locals who care more about the food than the dining room. Service was adequate and friendly.

“Not worth going out of your way”
Reviewed August 30, 2013

We were looking for good local food for lunch one day, and I found this place on trip advisor. I had the roast beef po-boy which was not good, had a very funny taste. I cannot describe it, sort of like packaged onion mix. Hubby had the shrimp po-boy and said the only flavor was in the sauce. The potato salad tasted like grocery store variety, way too much mustard. The french fries were nothing special.
