My husband and I are staying here for five weeks on business, which is probably the longest we've ever stayed in a hotel. We've been here for over a week so far, and overall it's a great hotel. We stay in hotels fairly regularly, anywhere from the higher end to the average...and details are important to us, so I'll make this as detailed as possible.

The hotel is very inviting when you first come in. The lobby is nice, the carpets leading to the rooms are nice, and everything is clean and orderly. On the first floor is a small fitness room with a treadmill, bike and elliptical machine. I've been using it in the early afternoons when no one is around.
Outside is a small pool. Nothing big or exciting, but it's clean and quiet. I've been wanting to swim, but the water has been too cold, even though the temperature has been in the low 80's. I haven't seen too many people using the pool, so it's nice to just sit outside and read where it's quiet.

Since we have a fridge and microwave in our room, we haven't had a chance to take advantage of the breakfast facility in the mornings. We usually eat a piece of fruit, or drink some juice on our way out of the room. But from what I can tell, they seem to have a nice selection.

The rooms are very comfortable. The beds are nice, not too soft, not too firm. The daily maid service has been great. They come to clean the rooms the afternoon, around 12 to 1pm, so if you decide to sleep in, you won't miss their service. The only thing I have an issue with in the rooms are the doors. If you decide to sleep in, or go to bed early, often times all you hear are the other quest doors squeaking when opening and then slamming shut. They are heavy metal doors, and even when you keep the fan on in the room to drown out the noise, it will still wake you up, especially if you're a light sleeper. We were put on the 4th floor since they knew we'd be staying here for a while, so it's supposed to be a little quieter than the other floors, but it still wakes me up almost every morning.

The laundry facility on the second floor is okay. There are two washers and two dryers, but they are coin operated. They charge $1.50 for the wash machine, $1.50 for the dryer, and $1.00 for each soap you buy. This bothers me a little because most hotels that I've stayed in where we've had to pay over $100 a night, has complementary laundry facilities, not including the soap. $1.50 per machine seems a little silly to me. And since we'll be here for so long, this is a bit of an inconvenience to me. Since I don't have time to stop and get quarters all the time, I have to ask the front desk to put it on my bill at least twice a week. They could easily adjust this and just make the darn machines free.

Overall, we've been enjoying our stay here. It's a quiet area, and not far from the beach.

Merci! We can not thank you enough for sharing your view of our property. Our guests become family especially those that have the opportunity to stay with us for extended periods of time or visit with us regularly. It is our goal to have each and every guest to have an exceptional experience in our hotel. We have addressed the door situation and have spoken with our management company on possible solutions for laundry. Front desk staff is very knowledgeable on the community and can guide you in making the most of your extended stay. At your service!

We were traveling and on the road later than we planned due to a late start. We overshot our hotel destination and lucked into
the Holiday Inn Express in Ocean Springs, Mississippi.
The property is very nice and the young lady who checked us in was extremely helpful and pleasant
Thank you Robyn!!
She recommended a place that was still open for a late dinner which proved to be exactly what we wanted,
and looked up my priority club number to give us credit since it had been a while since a stay with the company
She is exactly the kind of person you want to be met by when you are tired and hungry and in need of a nice place to stay
Our room was a comfortable, well equiped double. We had a lovely breakfast the next morning.
Also, Ocean Springs is an exquisite little town. lots of cute stores, beach, and charm

Spent three nights here in a two queen extended room. Room was big and we had plenty of room for us and the kids. Room was clean and in great shape except for the toilet could have used a better cleaning. The kids loved the breakfast area - the automatic pancake maker was a hit for sure! For the price it was a good stay. I think if you had loud neighbors on either side or above you then you would hear them as the walls and floor seem a little thin. The really down side is the parking. It is next to the Days Inn and shares parking which can be tight if they are busy and you arrive late. They need to purchase some of the empty lot behind the hotel and add some parking.

Room Tip: Get the extended room if possible.

We appreciate the feedback. We can only improve and enhance ourselves with your input. Housekeeping has been made aware of the situation and for parking we have overflow parking on the other side of Days Inn just a short walk to our entrance. We are so happy you enjoyed our "Express Start" hot continental buffet breakfast. Our most popular items are the pancakes and the cinnamon rolls. Again thank you and we welcome you back any time.
