Staff was great; building was ok; lobby smelled and looked dingy; carpets and hallways were dirty; trash in hallway; hotel did not smell clean. Phone in room was nasty and needed cleaning. Exterior doors need attention r.e. cleaning and/or paint. I expected better sanitation for 79 dollars per night... This was motel 6 quality for twice the money. Your competition at this location is great. Guests have many choices next door to this property at similar price points. I would only stay at this hotel if the cleanliness improved. Don't know how I'd know that just by booking online and wouldn't want to guess at it.

A clean and comfortable stay in a typical Microtel setup. I stayed in a “suite”, therefore I had a queen size bed and a couch with a pull-out bed. There was also a small “kitchen” area with a sink, microwave, fridge, coffee maker and a small counter area. Everything worked well except the microwave…it didn’t completely cook the food. There was a modern, middle sized TV, but it was mounted on the wall directly across from the counter…there was no way you could sit on the couch or bed and see the TV “straight on”, it would have to be viewed from the side or you’d have to sit in the floor to be in front of it. The bathroom had soap, shampoo, lotion, & a built in hair dryer, small but useable. The shower worked just fine and the tub drained properly. There were enough towels and washcloths for 2 people. The room was clean with the usual dust around the edges of the walls (vacuums just don’t seem to work well in these areas of motels). The hotel is located away from the interstate, so you don’t hear highway noise, but the walls are thin and you can hear your neighbor’s conversations. The furniture was functional, but was showing a lot of wear & tear. The heating/AC unit worked just fine and wasn’t noisy. There was the typical motel breakfast fare the next morning: waffles, oatmeal, cereal, biscuits, gravy, orange juice (not watered down), bagels, bread, boiled eggs, milk, and coffee. There was enough food, but it was not plentiful, if you took a food item, it might have been the last one out. The desk personnel were professional and prompt. This is a 3 floor hotel and had an elevator that worked well. The motel is pet-friendly with certain rooms set aside for travelers with pets…there is a $20 surcharge for a pet.
