This beautiful pre-Civil War structure is a real beauty. Tours are available with Christmas being the best time to visit.

OK, I work for the Governor, so many of my meetings and events here are for work more than pleasure. But the new Governor and First Lady have made certain that some much-needed renovations have taken place. Even when I am here for formal events, the Mansion staff are always very accommodating and hospitable in giving tours and sharing history. Visit if you can!

A well-kept piece of history. Many pieces of period furnishings still exist there, and the grounds are very nice.

the location only 2 blocks from the Mississippi Capitol. It is free 20 minutes tour from volunteer staff. The tour inside the Mansion with beautiful furnitures. Love the real fresh flowers decorations.
NO garden tour; you are not allow to go the garden: the side and the back because the present Governor is living the back of this mansion..

You are toured through hall & 4 rooms of the original portion of the mansion. No garden tour. Very little of the furniture is original.
The tour takes only twenty minutes.
