Two of us ate at Julep's last week. This was my third time here and only for lunch.

We found the service to be a bit slow, but enjoyed our conversation while waiting.
Both of us had one of Julep's specials which was the fried chicken. This was yummy! it is a fried large-sized boneless breast topped with a honey, butter, rosemary sauce. We asked for more sauce as we loved it so much.

I will make this a stop whenever I'm shopping in Highland Village.

A company based out of Jackson catered our lunch and served Black Chicken Pasta and Strawberry Salad with rolls. The food was terrific. I hope we will have lunch catered from there again very soon. Thank you!!

We had toured the Capitol and Juleps was recommended for a good lunch spot. It was a bit pricey and fancy for a lunch, but sure was delicious. Everything we ordered was excellent and the service was friendly, attentive, and helpful. It was a nice treat.

Met some friends here for lunch. They have a weekend brunch menu, which is very similar to the regular menu. Service was very slow, but there was a large hen party that seemed to be the cause. The food came out late, lukewarm/cold, and was basically tasteless. The best part of the whole experience was the strong pour on my bourbon. Definitely didn't live up to either the hype or the menu.

We decided to stop here while driving thru Jackson, after reading the TripAdvisor reviews and were not disappointed. Our waiter, Sammy Hardee, provided wonderful service and the food was creative, but comfortable. What's not to like about an appetizer of fried pimento cheese fritters with comeback sauce? Two of us had the catfish tacos, which were really more like a calzone, and both enjoyed them. Be sure to try the eggplant fries with ranch dipping sauce. I have never had eggplant fries, but these were delicious; a real treat. We all would return to the Julep.
