We are from Memphis, so we know BBQ. On our first few visits to State Street, we liked the pulled pork, though we weren't as crazy about the sweet sauce.they need to have a hotter, spicier sauce. On our last visit we were disappointed; the meat seemed really fatty. I hope we were just there on a bad night. The beans and fries are good. I would prefer real dishes instead of a plastic basket lined in paper that tears when you cut the meat. All in all, good BBQ...for Mississippi!
