Great hotel!! I visited Jackson for business and leisure with several colleagues and friends. My entire group was well please with the hotel. I parked in valet and was pleased with the service. The hotel was very clean, the staff was helpful and the hotel has an excellent restaurant and bar. Looking forward to my next visit.

Great hotel. Very clean with exceptional staff. From valet to housekeeping--everyone is exceedingly helpful and accommodating. By far the best food at any Hilton Garden Inn that I've visited. Several great restaurants are within walking distance as well. Room was comfortable and quiet. Bathroom was immaculately clean. What impressed me the most: every staff person took the time to ask me if I needed anything and/or was I enjoying my stay. I was quite impressed. Hotel manager knowledgeable about his staff and what great customer service should be. I've already booked my next stay at this location.

I am glad to see the this old girl back in service, for years it sat near the train station and the mesuem/convension center area in disrepair. It once was a grand hotel, and while it still makes a grand appearence from the outside and the lobby, I was somewhat disapointed with the rooms in general. Not because they were bad, but rather because they lacked the old world charm I had expected; they were typical hotel rooms, the grandger was no longer present. Need I say more.

I was a bit disappointed with the service as well, it was slow in the resteraunts and bar, not that the staff didn't try, they seemed to be a bit understaffed which put pressure on the rest and resulted in a good wait for service.

One highlight was Shelby, the doorman, talkative, informative, and an allaround nice guy. it was a pleasure talking with him.

While I'm sure there were other on that staff as friendly as Shelby, they just seemed a bit lacking.

I prefer this hotel to the Marriott down the street because it is not as stuffy. It's probably the best bet for downtown Jackson and probably better than the standard Hilton Garden. Front desk and dining staff are always friendly and helpful. Valet and bellman staff struggle consistently with customer service.

Will I stay here again? Without question. I would also recommend to colleagues as solid. Just know that you'll have to go with the flow...

Hmmm. Hotel was nice for what it is. Refurbished historic landmark. Clean, comfortable, quiet. Cable TV spotty due to what they said was " a recent city-wide power outage". Hotel literature has lots of security advice. I walked around alone all day, never felt uncomfortable. Downtown is REALLY quiet. Lots of big buildings, no shops, very few restaurants. Dined first night in Hilton. One filet of very dry fish, huge mound of mashed potatoes, asparagus that looked like grass, sparse glass of wine..$45.00. If you have to stay downtown, this is the place, pretty much the ONLY place I saw.

This hotel is nice, with a friendly staff. It's a little difficult to find for the first time, but once you've been there even that is no problem. My friend and I stay every year when we travel to this area for business.
