“Very educational and affordable”
Reviewed August 30, 2012

I found this museum so much more affordable than the children's museum and very educational for my 8 and 5 year olds. I think we saw only 2 other families there during our entire visit. We were really able to linger over the exhibits and talk about what we were seeing. We had just studied the ivory billed woodpecker and they had one at the museum! Although the children's museum was more fun for the kids we learned much more at the science museum.

“Fun!”
Reviewed August 21, 2012

My son said that this was his favorite place that we visited in Jackson (even after the Children's Museum and the Zoo). He really enjoyed the moving dinosaurs and the fish/turtles. I like that there is a trail where you can go explore and actually put what you've seen in the museum into real-life (identifying bugs/birds/trees). The beehive was really neat. It was well-kept and a great value for a few hours of fun.

“Fun for kids”
Reviewed July 26, 2012

Overpriced and the "petrified forrest" is a joke. Save the money and show your kids some rocks. I was expecting much more than some stones lying around. May I have a refund, please?
