I visited the Old Capitol mostly because I enjoy photographing architecture. The museum exceeded my expectations. First, the interior is very well maintained. The rotunda is stunning. The staircases are interesting. And, the chambers are beautiful.
Next, photography was permitted. I was able to take photographs of everything--and even allowed to use a tripod. Finally, the parking and entrance fee are both free! Impossible to beat.
