I used this place to host a concert for the group Compozitionz. They performed in the Sparkman auditorium; one of the buildings on site.

There are several buildings that represent the "old south". A slave quarters; an old jail; an older gas station; an old school church. It is VERY interesting. Be sure to take your camera with you (with a flash because the buildings do get dark).

Thank Jericho C

This place is packed with neat exhibits and fun things to see. I been through the main building a couple of times to see the quilts hanging from the ceiling and to look at all the other items too. The quilts change a few time a year, so I'll be back again to see future sets. I'm looking forward to exploring the other building and outside areas - the carousel looks like fun! And I plan to drag a friend to the aviation museum. (More likely I'll have to drag him out once we get there. Lol)

Loved every part of this place. Had a replica if the city with lots of model trains. Very educational and lots of interesting facts. Loved the "old town Mississippi" even have a General Store. This is a must.

The Ag Museum was a fun hot day. We got there at opening and had fun exploring the main building, the 2 toddlers esp enjoyed pushing the buttons to make all the trains go around. We then explored all the buildings outside, being August and MS, we were happy to get cold drinks in the general store after our train ride. Not a bad day for $16 for a family of 5 (the 16 month old babies were free).

I know of no where else you can take group of children/adults and visit an old farming community and home town with live animals, syrup making, ginning cotton and fresh biscuits with the syrup. Also the old tractors, equipment and old airplanes are outstanding in the museum with all the history that goes with it.
