Great southern soul. Wonderful welcoming service. And well deserved Pride in their food. Came in at closing yet Annie herself made us plates of fried chicken, yams, cabbage, limas...and gave us dessert. Pecan pie; yum.
Perfect diner with home cooking.

What a wonderful surprise to find Annie's in Holly Springs, MS!
The home-cooking was so very good. I had fried chicken, cabbage,
mashed potatoes and gravy, with a roll, can you say yum?
Reasonably priced and a great location.

If you are looking for very good food served with a smile, then Annie's is your spot. There were four of us on a "brothers trip" and remembered Annie's from a visit from six years ago. The food was awesome...the hospitality of the owner, Annie, is over the top. Everyone that enters is a friend. Be sure to try the peach cobbler!

Very tasty southern cooking and service was great and pleasant owner/staff. Downside was the decor (or lack thereof). It was very cheap furnishings, harsh lighting, and cramped booths or table with broken bench and wobbley table. My meal was priced at $7.95 (delcious fried catfish, mashed potatoe salad, turnip greens and a sweet corn muffin), his was the buffet (fried chicken, yams, corn, blackeyed peas, roll) for $6.98. We both drank water. The bill was $20.87. We may have been charged for drinks. As usual, my husband said nothing and I didn't discover the overcharge until we had left. If not for this and the poor decor/furnishings, I would have rated Annie's as a 5-star.

Certainly the best fried chicken in this part of Mississippi! And the cakes are enough of a reason to go there .. all freshly-made day-of - coconut and caramel top my list of favs. Then there are the greens and green beans. YUM! Pleasant, relaxing atmosphere with very attentive service even though it is buffet style. Very reasonable price. Miss Annie is usually there to greet you - she is so charming and acts as if you are in her home. A must for any traveler to Holly Springs!
