“Nice getaway”
Reviewed April 22, 2012

We camped in the tent camping area. It was primitive, but that's the point of tent camping. There are also RV hookups and cabins. Bath houses were heated & A/C, and were clean every time we went in.

“Our Favorite Place to Camp”
Reviewed January 23, 2012

We go to Paul B. usually 4-5 times a year and camp. We love it here. The campground and lake are beautiful year around. Its only a 15-20 minute trip to Hattiesburg where you can shop and visit the Univ of Southern MS!! (GO Golden Eagles) This trip we were there for the annual fall festival where all the campers decorate their campsites and kids from all around ride around the campground on hayrides and trick-or-treat! We won 2nd place in the decorating contest (and a $50 gift card to TGIFridays!!). The ranger station is transformed into game central for the kids. They also have a costume contest for them. The nature trail is turned into a "haunted trail" that really gets the blood pumping. Come to Paul B. Johnson. You won't be sorry.

“Wonderful place to camp and fish”
Reviewed January 6, 2012

I spent two weeks camping there in my rv with my grandson and his best friend. The site we had was close to the lake and perfect for fishing. My 12 yr old grandson caught the largest fish ever using his small catch for bait to get the big fish. I'll return again.

You drive thru water when entering and it is a fabulous park.
