This was the best service we have ever received!!! we had a server named lydia. she was amazing. we decided we wanted breakfast (after normal b'fast hrs) we gave her our order and she gave us the "unmenu option" which made our food a better deal. i cant brag enough about her. she was prompt and courteous but not so overwhelming it was bothersome! the food was delicious as well! this is the bst service as a whole we have ever received. im sure we will stop in there every time we take a trip to ms.

10 oz Ribeye cooked to perfection with baked potato and tossed salad or another veggie for $13.... and the ribeye is as big as the 16oz served at the dedicated steak joint across the street for $22

(the fact that it actually tastes better is just an added bonus)

Meatloaf + mash potatoes + 2 veggies for $8 or $9.

Can't beat the prices/value and the wait staff is pretty good as well.

In regards to the service, watch the stars on the apron. The 2-3 stars have been around long enough to learn the menu, the kitchen and actually care about the customer.

Those 1 star (or worse the NO STARS) can be a sign of potential trouble as they are still trying to get their feet wet so to speak. I have great service from a no-star and then other times the manager ends up waiting on my table as the waitress confuses Iced Tea with hot coffee.

Watch for the waits... Friday and Saturday night the waiting can hit 20 minutes if you don't get there early. Even arriving at 8PM can result in a 10 minute waiting for a table.

Even with most stuff (outside of things like Roast Beef and MeatLoaf) being cooked to order, the speed the staff brings stuff out of the kitchen can be mind boggling fast.

And stuff is really cooked to order / small batches.. On my last visit I ordered the baby carrots as one of my veggie sides.... the waitress (a 3 star so it is obvious that she cares) responded that it was going to be a 15 minute wait on carrots because the Kitchen was preparing another batch.

No problem.... just delay my meal if needed and everybody will be happy.

Meal still arrived in under 10 minutes.... with the Carrots.

We stopped in for dinner before getting on the road to New Orleans - We arrived at the airport at dinnertime and didn't want to search for a place to eat. It was a Thursday evening and we were promptly seated. Our server "Capri" was very friendly. She checked on us several times and said she would be back, but had to help out with a large party.

I had the chicken tenders and they were quite good. The batter was not too thick. My husband had the chicken fried chicken, and he said it was good too. The only thing that wasn't right with the order is that I received corn muffins instead of biscuits. It really didn't matter as I had to much to eat anyway!

If we find ourselves by the Gulfport airport again at dinnertime, we will probably stop in.

I debated between 2 and 3 stars for this review. Our meal of Momma's Pancake Breakfasts came with undercooked scrambled eggs. They were sent back and heated up. Unfortunately, they were still not completely cooked. The waitress was on the young side(teens) and commented about not being able to reheat eggs. We have eaten at several Cracker Barrel's in the past few months and have witnessed inconsistent food and service. Unfortunately, it appears the trend continues. The rest of the meal was very good and we were in and out in 45 minutes, even with a 10 minute wait for a table.

We ate here after going to the movie theater nearby. The food was tasty and service was very nice. We both had Reuben sandwhiches and they were so good. The only thing that we didn't care for was the server actually came to our table to much. We had just gotten our food and hadn't tasted it yet when we was at our table asking how it was. He also returned to our table several times during the course of the meal and became more of nuissance than a convience. We could tell from the look of our people after he left their tables that they were inconvienced as well. Other than that we had a great time and will be back several more times in the future.
