We were there for lunch and the food was solid good, in an excellent location, overlooking Bernard Bayou. They have a daily special and a good size menu with many of the local and creole cuisine. All the meals were served well; enough for any hungry person. The special included dessert. I am not much of a dessert person, but can say that the banana pudding and the lemon pie were really delicious. The restaurant has a fantastic elevated view of the bayou. I recommend this place and will go back next if I am in the that part of the country again.

We had the Seafood Fra' Diablo and the Red Beans and Catfish, both plentiful and excellent. The water view was awesome and we sat on the shaded outside deck. Service was fast and very good.

Visited for a late lunch on a Tuesday afternoon. The place was almost empty. First had the deep fried pickles and she crab soup. Both were excellent. Our lunches were also very good (fried green tomatoes, shrimp po boy, buffalo tenders). The service was very prompt and friendly. Just and FYI, like many restraurants in the area, there is a large flight of stairs to walk up the the entrance.

Great food, wonderful fast service and cool atmosphere! Lots of variety in the menu so everyone in my family found things they liked. The fried green tomato appetizer was delicious and so was the Cobb salad. My husband enjoyed the red beans and rice with catfish.

Saw this place on DDD from the food network. It exceeded my expectations! The atmosphere had a great local feel. There is a beautiful view, we even saw an alligator! The crab cakes were delicious. The service was wonderful. The fried crab claws were plentiful and perfect! Everything was freshly prepared and served hot and in large quantities. Definitely worth the short drive off the main boulevard . 5 STARS!!
