Our staff members have dined in the Mobile and Gulfport locations in the past. Recently we brought four employees into the Mobile location for lunch. Each time the food was really good. However, the service was somewhat slow. The break between ordering and being served could be somewhat quicker, especially during lunch. However, the waitstaff are friendly and helpful.

Staff members have tried the all you can eat shrimp special in Mobile and Gulfport locations and have been completely satisfied.

Average is probably the correct term for this place. I thought the shrimp etouffee was a bit greasy, but it tasted ok. The blackened fish could have been a bit spicier for my taste. The shrimp cole slaw wasn't any different than regular slaw, so I'm not sure what the point was. The beer was cold.

I have eaten here many times in the past year, the prices are right, and the food is always good! I typically try to avoid “chain” restaurants, but this one keeps me and my family coming back.

This little cafe was a place where the locals hang out and the food was out standing and the waitress where very charming and .. made sure all the food was hot and tasteful with getting it to your table.. and always checking to see if you needed any thing else.. Great home cooking and a evening meal..

We were staying in a hotel very near this restaurant, and even though it was not recommended to us we didn't want to drive very far so we gave it a try. Even though one person in our party went just for the oysters and they were out when we got there, we still found other things on the menu suited to our taste. The salad with the hot fried fish on top wasn't a good idea because the hot fish wilted the greens in the salad. The fried shrimp had way too much breading - makes you think it was pre-packaged? The catfish was good, just not enough of it. Not a terrible meal, but lots of room for improvement. Also, it's located on a main highway so the outside seating didn't provide much view of anything but asphalt.
