My wife and I stayed here for one night during a trip to the US. The front desk staff was very friendly and the room was clean and well-appointed. Price was reasonable, and the property was on the main drag about 5-10 minutes from the beaches. The included breakfast was quite good. Room walls were a bit thin and we could hear our neighbours.

My husband and I stayed for a night. We were extremely satisfied. Rooms were large, clean and had enough towels. Breakfast had enough of a good selection. They were sold out, but we found the rooms to be very quiet. Close to an Outlet Mall if you want to go shopping and about 8 mins for the beach. Beaches were extremely clean. Would stay again

Overall, this is a good place to stay except for one thing. The walls in this hotel seem especially thin. This made for a difficult night, with constant bumps and voices coming from rooms above and the hallway. Otherwise, it was a good spot not too far from the coast and the interstate. Staff was helpful and friendly. If you end up here, try to get a room on an upper floor or away from the pool.

Room Tip: For less noise, avoid rooms on the first floor or near the pool.

I booked this hotel specifically because of its indoor pool. During booking I made sure the pool was in working condition and on our arrival date I called again to make sure the pool was in the same condition. When it came time to go to the pool I was more than disappointed. The water was absolutely FILTHY. We refused to get in. The front desk was made aware but nothing was done. Our trip was just an overnight stay, basically to see the beach and have a pool for something to do. Obviously the condition of the pool made it a pointless trip, especially a 5 hour drive to not have the amenities expected.
The halls were noisy all night long. I assume it was kids on spring break. We had 2 children with us as well. I guess not all parents know to respect a public place and teach their children to, as well. The noise made for a long night.
The room itself was nice but needed cleaned a little better. We found several small pieces of old food and trash left behind. Nothing a quick vacuum couldn't have fixed.

First, I would like to apologize for the inconvenience. The pool was in working order and had been treated earlier that morning like it always is by our well qualified maintenance person. Due to the enormous group of spring breakers that occupied our hotel during that period, a few of our common areas received more attention than others. The pool had to be treated on 2 separate occasions and was opened immediately after all pool levels were determined to be safe. The noise issue had to be constantly monitored due to amount of children on the property but was well maintained. We are coming up with new safeguards to better handle this in the future.

Recently visited the Gulfport Comfort Suites and had an overall good experience. My only complaint would be the pool water having too much chlorine...my son had to get out because it was hurting his eyes. However, the breakfast was great and staff extremely friendly.

Thank you for your response. We do apologize for the issue with the chlorine. The water is tested each morning and the chemicals are added as needed by a well qualified hotel employee. We will continue to take all necessary steps to ensure that all levels are properly maintained. Thank you again for your response.
