“The cottage that has everything”
Reviewed August 16, 2015 for a stay in August 2015

There is nothing missing at Coral Street Cottage - the traveller can dump his stuff and get on with his visit with very little setting up because breakfast, snack food, wine, beer and coffee are provided. Keith told us about CAT buses and how to control the heating - both essential pieces of information. My only piece of advice to other first-timers in South Fremantle: go south of the cottage. South beach is stunning, has a very good coffee shop and wonderful parkland around it. The centre of Fremantle, north of the cottage, is an inevitable destination and is also interesting, but don't miss out on what is further south.

“Simply stunning in every way”
Reviewed March 26, 2015 for a stay in March 2015

We stayed in Coral Street Cottage for three nights just recently. We thought the Cottage was simply gorgeous. It was welcoming, comfortable and full of lovely furnishings and features that befitted its age and style. Hosts - Judy and Hugh are accommodating and thoughtful hosts who have stocked the Cottage with everything you would need to feel at home during your stay.
The huge fruit and local produce basket which welcomed us on the kitchen bench was totally delicious and well worth a special mention!
We found the location of the Cottage extremely convenient as a base to explore Fremantle. It is very close to the free CAT bus line which an be used to get into and out of the heart of the town and most of the attractions including the Fremantle market.
There is a BBQ which works very well and a very private and cosy courtyard to relax in.
We would strongly recommend this Cottage to anyone who appreciates comfort and quality within a pretty period cottage setting.

“True Fremantle experience, perfect location, beautiful inside and out”
Reviewed December 28, 2014 for a stay in August 2014

I was in Perth on business for most of July and all of August, but did not want the usual sterile business accommodation. I found Coral Cottage on Trip Advisor and found it to be in an ideal location: near the heart of Fremantle but at its southern edge, which is mostly residential with a short walk to the beaches, all the charm of the small cottages and none of the touristy crowds. The owners were extremely accommodating, providing an astonishing welcome basket, the loan of a bike, and ready to provide advice and tips on restaurants and sights. There are several excellent restaurants within literally three blocks of the cottage as well as brew pubs, grocers, bakeries, coffee shops, and bottleshops. The cottage is beautifully furnished and the fireplaces, particularly the stove in the rear dining area, not only took off the chill of the wintry August evenings, but made for a wonderfully atmospheric place to relax with a book and a glass of wine. The kitchen was extremely well equipped and as I had a long stay, having a washer and drier were a real boon. One other outstanding thing - and this is an unusual thing to note - is the linens. The towels are abundant and of remarkably high quality as were the sheets, pillows and duvets. I do not usually remark on such things, but these were notable and far better than most in even 4 and 5 star hotels, and provided a fine night's sleep. All in all, considering the hospitality, quality and location, this was a bargain!

“Extremely well appointed and beautifully maintained, quiet cottage.”

Perfect accommodation for a couple. Our stay was for our wedding and we couldn't have asked for a more peaceful stay during this busy time. The hamper of goodies provided was an exceptional touch and lasted well into the following week during our honeymoon. Highly recommend.

“Loved it”
Reviewed November 24, 2014 for a stay in November 2014

Coral cottage is a very special place to stay and it really enhances any visit to Freo. The cottage is really beautifully appointed, retaining the history of this Fishermans cottage but also with all mod cons. The layout is compact but we came with 2 young kids and it was great.
The street is beautiful and retains lots of historical charm as 1 of a few original fisherman cottages on a tree lined street. Also a lovely green outside the property. Go there and it won't disappoint.

“A little gem on Fremantle's most beautiful street.”
Reviewed October 26, 2014 for a stay in October 2014

A stunning little heritage cottage located on the corner of the enchanting Coral and Silver street. From the moment you open the front gate, behind a green wall of ivy you feel welcome. The beautifully restored cottage offers a serene and ambient form of accommodation in the heart of the very trendy South Freo. I just loved the styling and all the beautiful treasures inside. The hamper left by Judy was first class ... Every touch down to the lovely scent of rosemary and lilliams made for the perfect stay. We highly recommend your stay in coral street cottage.

“Coral Cottage, exceptional self contained accommodation.”
Reviewed October 17, 2014 for a stay in October 2014

We really enjoyed our stay at Coral Cottage finding every need had been carefully considered and provided for. The beautifully decorated cottage is comfortable throughout and conveniently located near beaches and shops yet provides a peaceful and private setting to relax in. We loved the well appointed kitchen and enclosed, sheltered courtyard as well as relaxing in the lounge with it's interesting library. The owners Judy and Hugh are very friendly and obliging. We will definitely stay there again.
