Some locals told us that this once great place had a dip
(maybe crash) in quality a few years back after a change
in management. I heard owners changed again. It has a
nice location right on part of the river so we gave it a try.
Some people were there but not overly crowded. Our
lady server was prompt, always smiled and hoped we had
"a blessed day" -- a nice touch from the Southern bible belt
we agreed. Not pushy at all though. The salad bar was
fresh with plenty of variety. Portions were not huge like
you might expect in some of these country places. I would
order the 3 piece catfish for just a little more money if you
are really hungry. The 2 piece portion satisfied us with the
salad bar, but the catfish was very good -- could have
downed another piece. Quality obviously has improved.
