“A must if you're in Clarksdale!!!”

We sat at the bar and had EXCELLENT service all night long. The staff is very friendly and the food is fantastic... well the fried pickles anyway :). We were there on open-mic night and got to meet Bernie Marsden from Whitesnake!!!... he wrote "Here I Go Again." I am looking forward to going back when they have a blues band playing, but regardless, the atmosphere and the service were phenomenal! This place is definitely a must while you are in the area.

An awesome spot to enjoy great music and good food! The coolness rating is off the charts! Make sure to sign your name on any part of the interior of the building ( if you can find a spot).
The Blues museum next door is also worth a visit.

Please do not let the exterior of the building prevent you from going in...that's part of the feel of this place. When you walk into the old cotton processing building, you're immediately struck by the amount of stuff (People have signed everything: the stools, the bar, the walls--AWESOME). We sampled some pints and was surprised that the head of the beers poured goes directly into the garbage(bars in Canada usually use it for beer-battered fish), but that isn't a big deal. We ordered a plate of Hot tamales and they were great. TAKE LOTS OF PICTURES! We weren't there for the live music, but can just imagine what the place would be like when the night comes. We would return!

To say this is meant to be one to THE places to hear blues at the heart of the blues, don't go on a Wednesday unless you have done some serious research to ensure a band is playing. Unless of course you would like kar-e-oke as an alternative. I could have cried. At least I went, put my mark on the wall, had a beer and bought a tee.
