Very nice restaurant, with good coffee:) We stayed at The Lofts above Yazoo Pass, so we had breakfast here everyday and had diner once. Good quality of the food. A bit of delta haute cuisine. Southern kitchen but with a European touch. Good food and service!

We stopped in the morning for espresso, stayed for lunch and then came back the next day....and the day after that.
Yazoo pass is a lovely, upscale coffee/cafe with a cosmopolitan vibe and very friendly owner and staff. The ambiance is welcoming; it's bright and cheerful with comfortable chairs, booths and table seating. It's very clean, including the restrooms.
The coffee, iced tea and espresso drinks are all delicious and well prepared.
The menu is limited but very, very good. Over the span of three days we tried many things, found each to be tasty, nicely presented and well-priced. Here's a list of what we tried and would return to again: marinated asparagus; gazpacho (although it's made only May - September); quiche; pimento cheese sandwich; the cookie with chocolate chips, macadamia nuts and coconut; and the cranberry, goat cheese chop salad.
Yazoo Pass is located on a corner downtown - we had no trouble finding it or parking. We would go back in a minute.

We were so thrilled to find a great coffee shop in Clarksdale. The coffee was excellent and we went back the next day for a scrumptious breakfast. The owner is very friendly as was the staff. The surroundings are beautiful, the most upscale place we saw on our entire trip through the Delta.

We stopped here for breakfast and it will always be a place we go to when visiting Clarksdale. My husband got the omelet, and I had the French toast and we were both very happy with our choices. It was delicious! Definitely try this place out!
