Nice gift shop, if your reminded of an old favorite rock or blues album you heard in the past it may be available for purchase. The owners a really nice and informative. I was blown away by the Mr Tater section and I got "Superbad" while there.

This a one-man private collection put together and displayed for museum goers. I was with a group of 3 friends so I felt a little rushed instead of feeling like I could read all the newspaper articles especially from the day after Elvis died and several other historical documents describing the various important musicians over the years.

We happened to drop in while T-Model was there and singing. What a treat! We bought one of his CDs and got it autographed.

OK, so this whole museum is based on what this one gentleman collected...but what a collection! Really fascinating and definitely worth the investment of an hour and five bucks.

The building has seen better days but that only serves to lend authenticity to the displays. This is a private collection which has been assembled out of a genuine love for the genre.
The gentleman who owns it has a deep knowledge of everything he has collected and there is as much or more crammed into this little storefront building as there is in any similar museum.
As long as he isn't too busy he will accompany you on your tour and explain what he has and how he came to have it. (sometimes you may wish he wouldn't as the depth of detail may be more than you desire)
He also plays locally with some of the blue bands around town.
Definitely worthwhile for a nominal fee.
