“the come back town”
Reviewed January 17, 2011

for a city that was almost blown away by hurricane Katrina it has made an amazing recovery, we where there in August, 2010 and unfortunatley the rest of America has seem to have forgotted about the gulf coast, the beaches are clean but there are no tourist. we are going back next week Jan 26th 2011 for a week of fun and games at the casinos, plus the good seafood.

“Cute little southern coastal town”
Reviewed January 6, 2011

I used to live here for awhile, so I know a little about this place. We go back about once a year now to see our old friends. So many people don't think of the "Gulf of Mexico" when they imagine the state of Mississippi but it is there and it has a lot of charming little towns. Not only Biloxi but Gulfport, Long Beach, Ocean Springs, Bay St. Louis and Pascagoula. You have many big, beautiful casinos (e.g. the Beau Rivage is an replica of the Bellagio in Las Vegas), great gambling, food (especially seafood, steaks and southern/cajun food, very nice climate. They have beaches, shrimping and fishing tours, mini islands you can visit, as well as cute little boutique shopping areas in Bay St. Louis and Ocean Springs. Some nice B & Bs as well. I highly recommend checking it out. You can see my contribution for additional individual hotel reviews and restaurants.

“biloxi”
Reviewed November 11, 2010

if you get the chance to visit the ms gulf coast and you like to gamble, then biloxi is the place to go. there are many casinos and hotels to choose from. overall, biloxi is a wonderful place to visit and relax. there is alot to do in biloxi besides gambling. there is the beach and at sunset, it is breathtaking. there are many restaurants to choose from and they are all good. if you get the chance, you must visit the last home of jefferson davis. it is truely a beautiful piece of history. i hope you enjoy biloxi as much as i did. i wouldn't suggest going at the height of the tourist season as traffic can be quite horrible at times. enjoy your stay!!!

“Biloxi, Mississippi”
Reviewed October 24, 2010

We recently went to Biloxi, Mississippi. It was nice to be on the gulfport, food was great; easpecially the shrimp from the gulf!
Mostly ate at restaurants in the bayou - a tip given to us by the locals. The only thing I can say if you love gambling casinos stay in Biloxi. If you don't gamble pick somewhere else. There is also a small area on the gulfcoast that you may swim in. The rest still has driftwood & some small tar balls.

“Best Vacation Spot Ever”
Reviewed July 19, 2010

We have been visiting Biloxi for many years. The Casinos are fun and were the reason for our first visit. However, we continue to go back because of the friendly people, the FOOD, the beautiful beaches, and the beautiful scenery.

Prices are more than reasonable and you never run out of fun things to do on the Gulf Coast.

We love the whole stretch of the Gulf from New Orleans all the way over to the Florida Panhandle.

Didn't notice any oil on the beaches in Mississippi when we were there in July, 2010. Saw lots of people ready to clean up, but no oil yet, thankfully.

Visit the Gulf Coast.
