We needed a getaway and the IP was just the ticket. The rooms were comfy (just dont get one by the maid station or you will hear the door slam all night) Feather pillows if you like them. Clean rooms, friendly employees. The awesome show LEGENDS was performing and we got free tickets since we were guests. The buffet was great for breakfast (didn't try dinner). The TIEN (asian food) was good as well. Our favorite though was the Carnival De Brasil. My husband was in hog heaven as the waiters brought him every kind of meat and shrimp to try as part of his meal. The salad bar is incredible. Probably the best meal we have had in a long time. Ask for Dallas and his helper Logan for great service and tell them the couple from Destin Fl recommended them! We loved the pool and hot tub and appreciate the fact that kids under 17 are not permitted in the hot tub. It was enforced pretty well. Great time at the IP and it was more affordable than the more lavish Beau Rivage.

Room Tip: Ask for non smoking and not near maid stations as doors closing will keep you up.

This was our first trip to a hotel/casino as a couple and we enjoyed every minute of it. I've never had such good service from a hotel before....though I realize it's because they really want you to stay and spend your money in their casino! :) Didn't matter to us, we loved it. The staff treats you like royalty from the minute you pull into valet to the very moment you leave. (Use the valet, it's a great perk.) If you gamble there, don't forget to sign up for a rewards card, it gives you the ability to ask for comps based on the amount of time you play. We are pretty small time gamblers but even we got free buffet breakfast out of the deal.

We stayed here and if your in a hurry or like quiet this is not the place for you. Check in lines were very long. Valet is best as parking fills up. Check in staff was friendly and polite. They had the correct room and price.

The room is great and they have Gilchrist & Soames toiletries. The amount of towels is not enough, but room service was great. Housekeeping was super as our Asian maids were fantastic. The supervisor of the housekeepers was a very unfriendly white woman who was very rude. Room attendendts are fast, friendly, and attentive. The bed was very comfortable, but only 3 very soft horrible pillows. Bring your own pillows :) Room was very nicely decorated and furnished. The pen left in our room had been chewed on repeatedly which was gross. The notepad had scribble marks on it. The air conditioning was great. Bathroom has large vanity with very nice showers with lots of warm water.

The biggest problem with this hotel is the walls are paper thin and the cracks under the door allow you to hear everything. If you are a light sleeper, then you need to go anywhere but here. Kids were running, screaming, and banging on the walls at all hours. Doors slamming every five minutes is annoying and no security stopping bad behavior. We had people hanging out in the hallways laying down and lots of room service dishes everywhere. Downstairs in the casino kids everywhere except where the gambling is. They are allowed to do anything. Lines were long everywhere including restaurants, bars, ticket office, host services etc..... Fast is just not on the menu in this property. They have great casino shows with comfortable chairs. A little rock n roll would be nice since everybody is not into country music.

Property has just been sold so it will be interesting in what changes are made. Hopefully they will hire more employees.

The pool is above average. Slots do not payoff and were super tight. Smoking everywhere so bring an inhaler.

We did express checkout in our room.

IP Casino was an absolute blast. Went for a long weekend with some friends and will def go back. I've been to most of the other casino pools and have to say this one was perfect. The giant screen at the end of the pool was perfect to watch the College World Series while relaxing with a coldie. Chill Ultra Lounge was a very convenient and fun place to end the night after some of the best sushi at Tien. I'm a huge sushi lover and have to say they do a great job. Chill was a gathering of all ages. We even got to see the appearance of a She-Mullet at the 80's hair band cover band.

The rooms were very nice too. Nothing special but very comfortable beds.

Can't wait to go back for another guys trip.

Room Tip: Ask for upgrades. They have them.

Stayed at the IP on a business trip for 5 days, and experienced their "Southern Hospitality" and 4 Diamond Service. Their employees were really friendly and helpful- no matter where I went there smiling faces ready to assist in any way they could! I had tried several of the eateries, I recommend 32 on the top floor, what a view and the food was wonderful! Best of all was the Spa experience, I had the Bamboo Massage and it was wonderful!!! The Spa staff catered to my every need, I went in stressed out and left totally relaxed! I will be back.

While waiting for the Bellman to retrieve our bags from the room, the maid ( Asian man) came in and began to clean. My husband who was also waiting in the room told the gentleman that we were checking out. He replied ok, and continued to clean the restroom (1413) and make the beds. Yes, the beds that we had slept on for a week. He literally cleaned the room without changing the bed liens!

The Bellman finally arrived after a 45 minute wait. I told him what had transpired and he just shoved his shoulders as if it was none of his business. When leaving I, walked down to where the maid was cleaning another room, and told him once more that we were checking out of the room, hoping that he would go back and change the liens on the made up beds.

How disgusting to think that someone else would probably sleep on the liens that were used by someone else.

I would hope that each time guest check out of a room that the beds are totally striped and fresh liens is replaced.

Since 2000 we have stayed at the IP each summer for vacation and had never had concerns regarding cleanliness, but after witnessing what I did June 24, 2011 it’s hard for me to think about or recommend this hotel to friends or family. I do not think I will ever stay there again. I am concerned that the sheets that we slept on had they been washed.

This too me is a health issue.

IPBiloxi, Manager at IP Casino Resort Spa - Biloxi, responded to this reviewResponded June 30, 2011

Thank you for posting this review because it allows us a chance to apologize and to reassure you that this is not the way we do business. The housekeeping situation you described is not how we run our Four Diamond property and it is not how our housekeeping and bell staff are trained. We appreciate that you informed your housekeeper that you were departing a day early and we understand why you were concerned that he change the bedding. Because our records indicated you were due to stay over an additional night, our housekeeper followed policy and made the bed without changing linens. Once you officially checked out of the hotel, our supervisor confirms that housekeeping went back into the room and changed the bed linens.
